“The beam is absolutely stunning and it was delivered ahead of schedule, communication was a bit of an issue as I hadn't heard anything from cottage other than my initial email, when I managed to speak with someone they assured me that my beam was being finished in the factory as we spoke, the courier delivered it less than an hour later, in short I don't think they knew where it was. I'm really happy with the beam and would use cottage again.”

“Easy to use website, easy to order and the product we received was wonderful. So happy with our purchase. Just wish we would have chosen the deeper option to give us more use as a shelf for decorative items but that's our fault.”

“The beam itself is exactly what we were looking for and arrived swiftly and undamaged. The issue I experienced was with installation. There were no instructions and whilst the fitting that came with it were simple there was no indication of what diameter hole to drill. The holes have to be perfectly perpendicular to the wall and this is difficult to achieve without a drill guide.”

“Friendly customer service. Our beam was unfortunately chipped during delivery and Cottage Beams were so helpful sorting out a replacement and collection of the damaged one. It's lovely quality oak and looks great above my fireplace. Can't recommend high enough A***”

“Wood quality is good. Was delivered and varnish wasn’t fully dry which meant packaging stuck to it. Additionally it was shipped without installation instructions and without a tool to tighten the bracket poles into the wall.”

“Beam is lovely. Just what we needed above our log burner. Only snag was the fixings, they only sent 2 screws and rawl plugs (sorted this myself) and one of the fixing brackets was a few mm higher than the other two needing a bit of jiggery pokery when drilling my holes in the wall.”
