“Edward Bulmer's Fair White revived our ceilings in an unbelievable way. They were covered in filler, caked in horrible gloss paint and had 300 year old smoke stains. They look like freshly lime plastered now. Even our decorator thought it was the best finish he'd ever seen.”

“Fantastic quality paint. The colour looks exactly as expected (Lilac Pink) and is the perfect warm neutral. The paint goes on very easily (much easier than Farrow and Ball) and leaves a great effect. Was easy to order delivery to the shop in Pimlico and collect as we needed it urgently but I do wish it was stocked in shops.”

“One of the staff messed up or forgot my order of samples. Which I had to follow up , she said I would be given a free one in the future but that is forgotten . She did admit her negligence but it didn't give your company a good start off for me.”

“Like some others have said here, gorgeous colours but exceedingly poor endurance. To begin with the consultant was wonderful over the phone and email- suggesting colours for particular rooms and to match other paint companies. I also talked with the spokesperson over the phone to insure I selected the right paint for our kitchen cupboards and wood work as well. Then purchased the primer and paint directly and talked extensively with the decorator (who paints for high end kitchen suppliers) about the instructions. We loved the colour but within 6 months the paint had turned sticky and come off in multiple places, particularly anywhere with handles that get frequently used despite only ever using water to wipe down dirt. It also gets dirty looking and sticky where ever hands touch the paint. And it chipped off in other random places. This was with brand new cabinets. Similarly, the paint on the walls and doors have come off in many places, particularly if you try to wipe it, despite being on new plaster in many places. And painted on their primers. I tried contacting the company and never received a reply. Extremely disappointed considering the time and effort and cost. We can’t afford to do it all again. Will never ever use again and warn everyone considering it.”

“Water based eggshell is quite possibly the worst paint I’ve used in 20 years of decorating. This is my first time ever using this paint and will definitely be my last. Coverage/opacity is awful. Added 2/3days on the job”

Dear Liam Please could you contact us directly as we have no record of your purchase on our system, no record of you contacting us to help resolve this matter; therefore unfortunately no way of communicating with you! We would be only too pleased to advise you of best practice when using natural paint. We would like to know what material the eggshell paint is going onto and which primer you have used, as other primers with plastics in, create a barrier to natural products making them hard to adhere and cure. “Incredibly disappointed with the quality of this paint. The colour choices are gorgeous, however after only a couple of months my kitchen needed redecorating. I took advice from the brand on undercoat, however the wear on my units is appalling. I work away most of the week and live alone, so very little wear!”

“They promised me next day delivery which I paid extra for yet no paint. No paint the next day either. My painter had been booked in especially. I cancelled my order and guess what…. The paint arrived the next day, which I refused to accept. APPALLING.”
