“Edward Bulmer's paints were a delight to use both in application and the absence of any strong odours - the clean-up was also easy. My first time using the brand, I took the plunge with Invisible Green / Pea Green / Milk White in a north facing principal bedroom and was delighted with the result. My daughter was looking for a softer, neutral shade for a south facing room and is really pleased with the varied tonal shades of Jonquil on her walls and woodwork. Our sitting room was refreshed with Welmish Blue and Pearl. Great depth and warmth to all the colours, highly recommend.”

“I got in touch with the team after noticing a number of things that aligned - London based independent paint company, clear vision on sustainability and natural paints and a competitive price for a comprehensive colour consultancy. The service received was better than I had expected. Sarah B visited us at our home and listened to our vision. She really understood what we wanted to achieve and then provided a comprehensive list of options. I highly recommend anyone unsure about what colours to use/ those who are not confident to go bold to get in touch. A thank you to Lena also who was very responsive to booking changes. We hope to use them again in the future!”

“Fabulous paint! The texture and coverage is amazing and there is absolutely zero odour, which is important to us and our dogs living in a tiny listed cottage. I have always been nervous of colour in the home, but for some reason EB paints has given me the confidence to be bold and make more colourful choices!”

“The room painted in Clove has been a revalation. I keep going in and not wanting to leave its velvety cocooning warmth. Totally delighted - will be choosing further colours from Edward Bulmer for other rooms. Only reservation the paint quantity was incorrect - I have a full unopened 5L can of emulsion & only needed 1 L of Satin for woodwork.”

“Such a beautiful range of colours and the paint is a dream to work with. Being natural paint, the warmth, depth and pigment is top notch. I used Vert de Mer on the walls and ceiling which changes from blue to green throughout the day as it interacts with the natural light. Malahide on the walls adds a fun pop of colour and ties in the other accessories. We've ended up turning a cold white living room into a warm and relaxing space that the whole family enjoy spending time in. Would highly recommend.”

“It's a shame that these beautiful paints are marred by the sub-standard order fulfilment process. On several occasions ordering via phone or online has led to wrong items being sent, delays due to pigments not being available, and orders getting mislaid. Too much time spent on the phone trying to rectify a scrambled system. The paints themselves are lovely, when you finally get your hands on them.”

“Beautiful paints that we have used consistently since their beginnings years ago. Used properly with good preparation, they give excellent coverage and the quality of light reflected from the natural pigments is beautiful. Even in a commercial property these paints have stood the test of time!”

“Terrible, uncaring, diabolical service. We paid extra for a before-10:00am delivery, eventually after wasting half a day fruitlessly chasing they delivered after 2pm, four hours late and without any kind of apology, especially as we had to send four painters home half a day early as a result. Never again.”

We’re very sorry to hear about the disruption caused by the delayed delivery and understand how frustrating this must have been. Your order was placed on Thursday for a pre-10am Friday delivery, which we processed promptly and booked correctly with the courier. Unfortunately, once orders leave us, delivery timings are managed by the courier, and on this occasion they failed to meet the agreed service level. We raised the issue with them immediately and always aim to provide a high standard of service, so we're very sorry that this experience fell short.
