“The room painted in Clove has been a revalation. I keep going in and not wanting to leave its velvety cocooning warmth. Totally delighted - will be choosing further colours from Edward Bulmer for other rooms. Only reservation the paint quantity was incorrect - I have a full unopened 5L can of emulsion & only needed 1 L of Satin for woodwork.”

“Such a beautiful range of colours and the paint is a dream to work with. Being natural paint, the warmth, depth and pigment is top notch. I used Vert de Mer on the walls and ceiling which changes from blue to green throughout the day as it interacts with the natural light. Malahide on the walls adds a fun pop of colour and ties in the other accessories. We've ended up turning a cold white living room into a warm and relaxing space that the whole family enjoy spending time in. Would highly recommend.”

“It's a shame that these beautiful paints are marred by the sub-standard order fulfilment process. On several occasions ordering via phone or online has led to wrong items being sent, delays due to pigments not being available, and orders getting mislaid. Too much time spent on the phone trying to rectify a scrambled system. The paints themselves are lovely, when you finally get your hands on them.”

“Had an excellent colour consultation with Lena, who has given me some beautiful options. The colour cards arrived very promptly and once I've played around with them and possible schemes I'm really excited about ordering the paint. “Beautiful paints that we have used consistently since their beginnings years ago. Used properly with good preparation, they give excellent coverage and the quality of light reflected from the natural pigments is beautiful. Even in a commercial property these paints have stood the test of time!”

“Terrible, uncaring, diabolical service. We paid extra for a before-10:00am delivery, eventually after wasting half a day fruitlessly chasing they delivered after 2pm, four hours late and without any kind of apology, especially as we had to send four painters home half a day early as a result. Never again.”

We’re very sorry to hear about the disruption caused by the delayed delivery and understand how frustrating this must have been. Your order was placed on Thursday for a pre-10am Friday delivery, which we processed promptly and booked correctly with the courier. Unfortunately, once orders leave us, delivery timings are managed by the courier, and on this occasion they failed to meet the agreed service level. We raised the issue with them immediately and always aim to provide a high standard of service, so we're very sorry that this experience fell short. This followed support in the selection of colours for an important redesign at a central Kensington property. We are much looking forward to seeing the result replacing a rather sludgy grey with uplifting Jonquil, Silver White and Water Glass.”

“I swithered beforehand between, 'Mummy', 'Chocolate' and 'Hawtree' for the perfect brown for the dining room, I feel I've hit the jackpot as the light seems to do all the heavy lifting and the paint just harmonises. The paint itself was a delight to use. The pigments are so consistent I could almost have stopped after the first coat, which I have not come across with other paint brands. The natural colour is wonderfully adaptable, appearing warm in morning light and candlelight and cool on overcast days, constantly harmonising with it's environment. I used both the emulsion and water-based paint for radiators, both behaved well. Highly recommend.”

“The paints are always such lovely colours but coverage can be patchy. I painted an already light pink room an EB shade of pink. I used 2.5l of paint to apply a THIRD coat to the ceiling (probably 18sqm) and there are still patches in places. EB kindly sent me another 2.5l of paint to apply a fourth coat but I've never had to apply four coats of paint before.. A shame because I've used before and the colours are lovely, but wasn't hugely impressed this time around.”

“I sat last winter in the lounge I really only use at night, and suddenly, and I'm usually an off-white/whiteish kind of girl, I was craving colour. A rich lovely green. And of I went searching. And this was the green that I was drawn back to again and again. I live in a simple little house. Nothing fancy. And now I'm sitting in my lounge, warmed and charmed by this beautiful colour. It was a joy to paint with. And it's a joy to be cocooned by.”

“I have used Edward Bulmer paints in five of our rooms. Despite being painted five years ago the colour has endured, they’re still fresh and most importantly I still love them. We’re decorating our boot room soon and Emma has been so helpful. When I was last in London I visited the Ebury Street showroom, and had fabulous advice from the person there too.”
