“I do love Edward Bulmer paint , it goes on like a dream and the coverage is amazing. The new Iznik colour is the colour I’ve been looking for for anges to go in our rather dark and dingy granny flat bathroom- it’s bought it to life, totally joyful.”

“Beautiful colours and gorgeous rich emulsion. I don't use anything else. No odour, vegan friendly luxurious emulsion. Need less as the emulsion gives a good coverage. Far better quality than anything I have previously used and not much more expensive. Very happy customer. I used to hate painting but really enjoy using Edward Bulmer. It makes the job far more enjoyable and easier when using good quality products”

“The paint is a beautiful rich colour and my only slight hesitation is that it doesn't have the best coverage, so I've needed about twice as much paint as anticipated, because it takes around 3 coats to get even and full coverage. Apart from that though, the paint is beautiful and has truly elevated my bedroom (I used Freudian from the chatsworth collection!) It arrived quickly and was well-packaged.”

“We used the nursery colour Frankie in our daughter’s bedroom. The colour is gorgeous and the paint is really easy to apply with great coverage. I love Edward Bulmer’s environmental credentials and no/low VOC paints.”

“The paint is beautiful, and to understand the ethos of the company matters. Your home is somewhere that you are creating to capture memories, to dream, to laugh and love. Your home deserves the best, to breathe and settle around you. My home is a part of me, and as a rural property it is part of the landscape around me, Edward Bulmer paints feel that they complement that perfectly. I haven't found the right colours for the rest of my house, but I'll keep looking, especially for my study, the most personal room in my home. Edward Bulmer paints will help me create my restful space in a stunning tone, I just haven't found it yet.”

“Very disappointing customer service and lack of support from Edward Bulmer Natural Paint in relation to a bungled/failed delivery, by APC, the firm's chosen courier. Particularly as customers pay for delivery. It's the first time I have used E.B. paint and I'm sorry to say we've not got off on the right foot. I usually use Farrow and Ball, the next day free delivery service (for orders placed by 2pm) is outstanding, and has never failed in years of use. No follow up from E.B. to check if all went smoothly on the second attempt, the following day, not even a good-will gesture offer to refund the delivery charge. I just hope that the decorator is happy with the way the paint goes on.”

During the recent heatwave, our courier experienced some unexpected disruption, which unfortunately affected a number of deliveries. While this was outside of our control, we completely understand how frustrating it must have been. As our paint is freshly mixed to order, our lead times differ from those of larger manufacturers, but we always aim to keep customers informed and provide the best possible service. “We’re crenrlt planning our forever home decor and I wanted to get it just right. I ordered 3 paint sheet samples and I’m so glad I did - the colours I picked were incredibly similar however when matched up to our existing furnishings the difference was amazing. The size is perfect for getting a good idea and being able to move it around the room for lighting differences. So glad I used this facility.”

“Good coverage, sadly it was to ‘make good’ some marks but the colour differed so it ended up being a much larger area to paint. Also I paid for next day delivery but it took a few days to arrive”

“I'm a convert to Edward Bulmer having previously always used Farrow & Ball. The paints come in beautiful colours - vivid greens and grown up pinks - with a premium matt finish that dries quickly without a toxic smell. But best of all is the customer service - from my initial colour consultancy to my subsequent interactions ordering online and making the drive to the chelsea shop - the staff have been unfailingly helpful, knowledgeable and go the extra mile for good service. Today a lady waited after the shop had closed as I was stuck in traffic and needed to pick up some samples. Sam is the shop is always super helpful and great at suggesting colour combinations. And there is a real gem in the Herefordshire head office - Charlotte who I think runs operations - but is also a brilliant and gifted colour consultant and suggested two of my new favourite colours - lilac pink for the kitchen and freudian for the front door - based off only a description of the house, telling her the shades nearby and what I was looking for. She was also incredibly helpful at making sure a shipment arrives on time during this heat. Thank you so much to all the incredible team. You really feel like everyone loves working here and are justifiably proud and invested in the Edward bulmer paints..”

“£10 for a small tester pot inc. delivery which took almost a week - colour was nothing like the card - I didnt even open it, naturally no returns. Cannot risk another delay so have gone with Graphenstone which matched sample, arrived next day and cheaper! EB Paint prices are extortionate and quantities not user friendly. A shame as I think they are a British Company. Avoid.”

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience. Our sample pots are supplied in reflective glass jars, which can make colours appear quite different before opening. Once applied, the paint matches our hand-painted colour cards, so we'd always recommend testing the paint itself before making a decision. As all of our paints are mixed to order, we unfortunately can't accept returns unless there is an issue with the product supplied. This policy is outlined before purchase and helps us minimise waste. We appreciate that our paints are not the cheapest on the market. However, unlike many manufacturers, we use earth and mineral pigments and a plant-based binder across our entire range, creating paints that are kinder to people, homes and the environment. While this comes at a higher production cost, it's a commitment we've chosen not to compromise on. We wish you all the best with your project. The Edward Bulmer Natural Paint Team
