Founded in 1986, our knitwear design house and manufacturing company is based in Melrose, in the Scottish Borders. We pride ourselves on championing Made in Scotland and have a dedicated fan base worldwide. “My favourite fairisles. I'm a perfect(!) size 10. However, all Eribes are too long in the sleeves, and so I turn cuffs up, but wish I didn't have to. Brora fits better, but not as eyecatching.”

Some of our sleeves are intentionally designed with a little extra length so they can be worn turned back. The cuffs are fully patterned and finished to look just as beautiful rolled, which gives flexibility depending on arm length and personal styling. “I have about 6 of the Westray sweaters now and about 4 of the Alpine short sweaters...and I absolutely love both styles! The colour combinations are fabulous and the quality superb. I would highly recommend both styles”

“I was in Scotland last year and was bound and determined to find a Faire Isle Sweater. My hotel found a great liitle shop in Edinburough and I got my 1st Eribe sweater. I loved it so much and its been such a cold winter, I decided to treat myself to another one. Then My friend saw me wearing it and I am ordering one for her.”

“I'm fast becoming a huge fan of your knitwear! The wonderful Corry Raglan jumper in Inferno has been joined by one in Caspian and then, naughty me, I was tempted by the Corry V-Neck Top, also in Inferno! These knits are so much fun to wear and accessorise, they fit beautifully and look great for all occasions.”

“Lovely jumper so soft,comfortable and cosy. Great service. This was my first purchase from Eribe and won't be my last! Price wise it did seem a lot but what I got did justify the outlay. I am expecting to enjoy wearing it for many years to come !”

“I have brought fairisle jumpers which l liked, but have just brought the plain corey high neck sweater, which l love, longer, looser style. The neck is not polo neck but high enough to keep you warm. Lovely colours to choose from and great quality. I am about size 8 and brought a xs which fits perfectly.”

“I contacted them before purchasing to see which size and style would suit my body shape. I got an immediate answer. Based on the recommendations I bought a beautiful jumper. The quality and colours are exceptional. I’m very pleased.”

“The jumper was gorgeous but it was a unisex jumper meaning it didn't really suit my plus size frame. The sleeves were too long and it didn't have the extra room where I need it most, round the tum and bum. Reluctantly had to send back.”

“The knitwear is of a superb quality with beautiful colour combinations. I take a size 10 and would recommend checking out the actual measurements before ordering as I take size S in the Alpine short sweater but, for the Westray, I would probably need size XS. The service is excellent. I now have 5 Alpine short sweaters and 2 Alpine hoodies! To say I am a fan would be an understatement!”
