The knitwear is exceptional but customer service dreadful.

Ordered a merino wool sweater for around £200 it arrived very quickly but I thought it didn’t look like merino wool. When I checked the sewn in label it said it was lambs wool not merino and was made in Poland not Scotland or even the UK. I returned it and was refunded the purchase price by when I telephoned before returning it the person I dealt with on the phone said it was merino lambs wool which was rubbish as merino sheep are shorn more than once. Merinonwool is generally much more expensive than lama wool because of its unique qualities which was why I bought it. This item was clearly misdescribed on the website but she would not agree to reimburse the cost of returning the item which was just short of £10 because of its value. I made the same point on the return form but still I only received a refund of the purchase price . So I have paid £10 for nothing. This is disreputable and I would never deal with ERIBE again.
