She also engaged with me about robot vacuum cleaners which I had stopped to look at. She told me she’d only been there three weeks but she’s a keeper! In so many stores now one is greeted with a very indifferent “are you ok?” which to me is completely appropriate unless one looks as if they’re about to collapse!
