“Turned up late, left me without heating and said ‘I’ll see if the plumber can come back to you to sort’ ! overpriced and unhelpful. Used another more local company, much better and better priced. Not willing to give a refund or partial refund for the incompetent work. Avoid.”
“I required an emergency plumber, and Home heat organised one for me that day at a cost of £169, on checking my bank account today, they charged me £202.80 for a 1 hour visit . The robbing ********, I will never use the again.

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Awful service, we called them out and was charged over £200. They didn't have the parts needed and so had to come back the next day. We then had to pay a further £200 plus for another call out even though we had a gold plan which is suppose to give us 6 free call outs.
The engineer they sent out then left the tank draining into a small bucket unattended whilst he 'nipped out'. This then overflowed and caused a new leak in the ceiling.
Dreadful handling of the situation. Dreadful service....and the gentleman we spoke to was patronising and unprofessional.”
“Poor service and unresponsive. Initial response was quick but very expensive. Boiler still leaking but they won’t come back. Will encourage customers to sign up for a years free cover but fail to respond and cancellation of policy is difficult. My advice is to stay away there’s plenty of other options.”
“DONT USE. Very poor performance. Charged me £200 for a call-out for a severe leak. They sent out a plumber who didn't even take the bath panel off, or look at any toilet or sink waste pipes, and pointed to some tile grouting and blamed it on that. Refused to refund when I went the next day and just fixed it myself with silicone (something the plumber should easily have done in 10 minutes). I'm not disputing the £200 call out if the chap did his job right, but if you cant use a silicone gun or take a bath panel off for a £200 call out and refuse a refund that is beyond a joke.”
“rip off merchants.
£154 for one hour call out, cancelled
they then shopped around and a lad came out of ours to fix did aquick fix and said if no good he would call again on way to home net day which he did found prob and he would pass on to this rabble and then was told by them he was not beening paid for call out.
Then this rabble informed me it would cost £540 to replace part (£75 for it) would work out better to replace with new boiler at about £1000 now seeking to recoupe call out fee as they man was in house tor 10 mins may cost me alittle more but will cost the thousands hopefully”
“Appaling service the tech arrived after I paid £150 for just the pleasure hit the boiler with a wrench repeatedly then overpressurised the system and left saying it needed a lot of parts
I phoned endlessly and was put off saying they could not contact the tech and the parts werent in we were left a week withhout hot water / heating previous to there arrival the boiler was fine just wanted a tiny occasional drip fixed ( parts £20 from anywhere)
Was told it would be £400 for the re visit and parts so paid as were desperate, eventually a week later the good tech turned up but only fitted the daighram valve kit and microswitch
£20) I assumed a new pump was going to be fitted now a week or so later the pump keeps failing, so have lost all that money for £20 parts repair.i requested a bill including parts fitted and cost breakdown, they said we dont do that?????”
“Needed an emergency plumber as we had water leaking all over the kitchen and our regular plumber was away. They took a huge non-refundable payment upfront before arranging anything. The plumber was booked mid-morning, but didn't arrive until the evening despite several chases and false promises. He undertook such poor work, charging another large sum for a small piece of plastic, and the "repair" broke within a few weeks which flooded our kitchen again. Our regular plumber came to look at this and took photos of the work Home Heat had done to share as he couldn't believe the terrible job that had been done. Avoid at all costs.”
