“I was diagnosed with cataracts and advised by my optician to seek urgent medical help particularly to my left eye. My optician referred me to Mr Anderson. I have to say the experience from the first to the last consultation was fantastic. I opted to have both eyes done at the same time and tri focal lenses inserted , which makes me glasses free. The operation , although daunting for me, was quick and painless apart from a gritty feeling which disappeared quite quickly with the drops. Even after a couple of days my sight had massively improved, although strong sunlight and bright lights were uncomfortable at first, but sunglasses helped. All staff that I came into contact with couldn’t have been more friendly and reassuring. I have to thank everyone of them for their care and consideration. “After years of umming and ahhhing, I decided to finally have my eyes lasered. For over 20 years I have worn contact lenses and glasses. I was fed up of ordering contact lenses, wearing glasses and swapping to prescription sunglasses (let alone making sure I always packed enough when I went away). I delayed having laser surgery on my eyes because detached retina's in both eyes over 10 years ago had left me with one fully working eye and I was reluctant to risk damaging that eye further, but David Anderson couldn't have been more helpful.
