I purchased a new UV lamp as an upgrade and all was good. After about 10 months it stopped working so I contacted Candy Coat asking for a replacement as it was still in warranty. 4 emails later to customer service and I still haven’t received a response from them. I won’t be using them again

At the end of April I ordered the 9-polish kit, whose photographs all advertise a rainbow of colours, only to receive a very limited shade range mostly in the same colour family. OK, that's fair, it's a 'random' selection, but the photographs on their website are extremely misleading. However, the top coat I also received in the kit had leaked all over the contents and was missing the brush. I emailed their customer service, which claims to respond within 48hr, and got absolute silence from them. After 4 unanswered emails, I sent another message to a different address on the website and finally got a response (on 20th May, over 3 weeks after my order arrived), assuring me that I would receive a replacement top coat but completely ignoring my other suggestions about their product. By 5th June, I had still received no replacement, and emailed again to chase this. As of today, 11th June, this is still unresolved. I will never purchase from this company again and advise everyone to do the same.

I'd ordered two of their cheapest polishes in colours Beth and Ella (green and red), and Ella was incredibly glittery. I don't usually like glitter polishes, but tried it and decided it looked fine and wasn't a big deal, despite the false advertising. Although their colours are advertised as being "long-lasting", they chip within a DAY even with proper prep. To give them the benefit of the doubt, my nails are flimsy and brittle, so it could potentially be a me problem. A day after ordering my first two polishes, I ordered their natural nail kit and their soft gel tip extension kit. I'd ordered it on a Friday, so I wasn't expecting it to be shipped over the weekend. Monday rolls around, and I get an email saying that it'd been shipped with Royal Mail 48 (Tracked), meaning it SHOULD arrive within 2-3 days (although I get no Royal Mail tracking information at all). It's now Saturday, no delivery, and I've emailed twice to no response. The "Track Order" button they provide on the email and on their website doesn't work at all, and actually looks like it was never functional to begin with. I'm beyond disappointed with how poor their customer service is; I've genuinely had customer service dealings from independent single-employee businesses that is better than Candy Coat. I'm writing this in the hopes that they actually try and rectify their mistakes, instead of just ignoring my emails.

My friend bought me a voucher for my birthday from this company. I came to use it three weeks later as the link provided didn't work. I was promised a response but haven't received one and it's been almost two weeks. They steal people's money and don't fix their errors. Avoid.

I returned 2 top coats mid-November with the promise that alternative ones would be sent out as soon as they were received. I then heard nothing for weeks, despite me sending multiple emails. Finally on the 1st January I received an email to say they had been dispatched. 3 weeks later they have still not arrived - and again, no email response. Avoid using this company. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering!!!

Purchased their expensive 86W Pro UV lamp. The lamp broke after 1 month! The lamp stays on even when it’s charging. Can’t shut it off unless I unplug it. Wrote to CC Customer Service and they NEVER replied. Awful cheap products and horrible customer service.

Awful customer service. Lamp broke within the 6 months warranty but they won’t replace it unless I spend money sending back the broken one. The nail varnish also separate on the nail and create a super lumpy finish.

Good products but unfortunately customer service is shocking, also they take up to 2 months before subscriptions are sent out. Which is appalling, as money is taken 15th on every month but not filled till 30th of the following month although they sell their subscriptions as; payment on 15th of the month and dispatched between 25-30th of the same month !! When than is brought to customer service. They literally don’t care. And when asked for refunds in the past they just palm you off to wait for the order.

I’ve bought many products from this company, so I decided to buy their efile drill £150, (a lame 6 months warranty now I know why)it stopped working after just 8 months not even used excessively, they have not offered a replacement or repair, just an email saying sorry to hear this has happened not heard of this happening before have a sweet day. Shame, I’ll never purchase anything from this company again.

The Candy Coat Liners in Dark Red were really disappointing. The product's color didn't match the advertised shade; it was much darker in reality. The application was a nightmare as it streaked and clumped, leaving my nails looking messy. The liner didn't adhere well and chipped within a day. I expected better quality and accurate color representation. A total waste of money.

Everything about my interaction with CandyCoat was disappointing. They have terrible customer service, slow shipping, and way too expensive prices. I ordered two gel polishes but was completely dissatisfied. Do not spend it all at this store.

Products great but customer service us the worst I've EVER experienced in my lifetime. Seems they are not interested in keeping customers happy and certa8nly not interested in learning from all the poor reviews, such a shame as this could be a fab company as they have some fabulous products.

Took my payment twice would not refund me, customer services attitude is disgusting Sheera needs to check her attitude. Company won’t last long soon enough they’ll have more bad reviews than good. All because there customer service is s***. These don’t seem to want to part with the money they are taking off people and therefore not refunding anybody from what I have saw, check trustpilot reviews for more bad reviews where they’ve declined to refund people

Worst customer service. Told me to handle the package issues myself, while post told me they can only cooperate with the sender. I was suggested that I AM A SCAMMER, got refused help and refund cause the package shipping status says "delivered" - WELL IT WAS DELIVERED BACK TO THEIR WAREHOUSE, NOT TO ME. Didn't even hear sorry, tried to contact their social media as well, they stopped responding once I told them my issue, tho all my messages are "seen". Joke of a company.

Very poor customer service! Unwilling to replace damaged items and instead offer 10% discount for you to order the item again. Absolutely appalling service, dont treat customers fairly and are completely unwilling to accept responsibility for damages

Well contrary to all the other reviews below I have been ordering off the candy coat website since lockdown every month and all my orders have arrived within a week. Nothing is ever missing as they tick everything off on the paper receipt enclosed and in fact u get extra bits sometimes in the candy kits. Never had a problem with candy coat, I’m addicted to the brand :) Always new stuff popping up on the website!

Customer service is atrocious and they delete any reviews with comments that are unsatisfactory. They advised that because I was unhappy I didn't understand them as a brand and they have plenty of other happy customers. Obviously, if you get your order and is fine then they can be great, but if your order isn't right they aren't willing to listen. Seen as they delete any negative comments customers think they must be amazing, as did I. I spent £100 and my order was broken and covered in a product that had leaked and also didn't receive another item I'd purchased. I reviewed and asked to be contacted but this has been deleted and no record so they say this was never reported and won't investigate. I even posted photos. They just don't care. I will be taking this further.
