“We use both the caffeinated and lightly caffeinated coffees through a stove top mocka pot. Both coffees have a really clean, light taste to them which we've found works whether you're having a short or long coffee, and whether or not you're adding milk.”

“Delicious coffee - low roast seems like a much smoother, more subtle taste. Possibly healthier too. We have both the full and lighter caffeine - both excellent. Delivery is always prompt too. Highly recommend.”

“Found this brand when I was hunting for a scandi style coffee for a gift for my coffee loving hubby . A lightly caffeinated option has a lovely refreshing taste . Difficult to describe the actual flavour , it’s very different. We usually go for a rich Italian bean and this is the polar opposite but a really nice change . Italian first thing , Norlo after lunch . Whilst the tin is great , the refills are perfect for a reorder. We’ve bought the cups too . They’re small yes but not a problem to have a refill ! Straightforward and fast order/delivery”

“An admission: lots of coffee tastes the same to me. I read flavour notes on packets and blurb but it all seems to taste very similar once it’s gone through my Aeropress. However (you knew this was coming), not so with Nørlo. It genuinely tastes strong and full bodied but without the astringent lingering taste that seems sine qua non in even the upmarket bags in supermarkets. The grind is workable for my aeropress, the packaging and branding wonderfully ‘of the moment’ for those of us with a Scandi fascination. It does indeed remind me of the fika you find in Nordic cities. Naturally, it is expensive. The bags are smaller than supermarket offerings and more expensive per gram by some margin even before postage is added. As a result it can’t quite become my only coffee, but I keep it for my first cup and my good cup and the mass market stuff can fill the gaps in between. Thank you Nørlo for surprising me with my own dormant taste buds.”

“I bought the coffee as a gift (for an avid coffee drinker) and she absolutely loved it. Also, there was a bit of panic around the delivery (Royal mail said they delivered the parcel before actually delivering it). So I contacted the customer service and got a very quick response - so really appreciate the help!”

“This is good coffee! After a couple years in the UK, I finally found the coffee I like. I’ll stick with Norlo. Nicely smooth, but not overly so. I’m now awaiting my 2nd order to arrive.”

“I usually drink strong bold coffees - and still do - but since my friend bought me Norlo Organic ground caffeinated to try for my birthday, I’ve not been able to stop drinking it since! It’s delectable clean and vibrant notes burst with an indecipherable depth that belie the true meaning behind lightly roasted and reveal the surprises that lay in wait for wanting to be different.”
