“I bought the lightly caffeinated beans. They were OK, a bit bland I guess but I didn't expect much more with no origin listed etc. They're fine if you want something above the usual over-dark roast and don't want to think too much about it. (The collection of awards/organic certs etc are a bit of warning that this isn't real specialty coffee.) For about the same price you can get truly great, characterful beans from Workshop, Hasbean, Square Mile, etc, and that's what I'll stick with next time.”

“I wouldn't normally buy coffee beans that do not denote their origin. I wanted to try Norlo as much as anything because I love their packaging. I bought Caffeinated and Lightly caffeinated. Both are pleasant enough blends - smooth and lightly roasted meaning that they are not bitter. Because they are an unknown blend they are a little lacking in character - neither fruity, floral, chocolaty or nutty. I'm not disappointed, they are certainly pleasant enough, just not mind-blowing.”

“Happy with coffee and delivery - not happy with the “tube” won’t last long and expensive. Was hoping to have something that would keep my coffee nice and keep it fresh while using. For example Grind (who have less good coffee) have a nice tin available - much better. I am sure Norlo can do better than the tube.”
