“AWFUL, IRRESPONSIBLE, MISDIAGNOSED MY CHILD and now REFUSING to do anything about it. My daughter was seen by one of their “doctors” - Dr Acharya.
She was soooo hyper during that appointment, that it was nearly impossible to have any conversation with her and she could not sit still for a minute or concentrate at all! Seeing that and all other evidence the “doctor” agreed, my daughter definitely showed clear symptoms of ADHD.
Afterwards, once she had found out that my daughter was also being diagnosed for autism at the same time, she withdrawn her opinion and said, she would make her mind up once the autistic diagnosis has been concluded as if my child’s has ASD , then possibly her issues might be down to this, rather than ADHD. Despite me challenging her with the fact, that extreme hyperactivity is not a part of autism but adhd. She couldn’t provide an explanation to this as said she wasn’t sure!
Once my daughter’s ASD diagnosis came through, she then refused to diagnose her with ADHD saying the symptoms she presents may be down to her ASD, although they were completely different symptoms.
I have forwarded this info to the ASD team, who issued her diagnosis and have been told the issues Dr Acharya described in her statement had NOTHING to do with autism. Later on, we contacted another very well known children psychiatrist with many years of experience, who said that first thing my daughter should have been diagnosed with was ADHD as it’s clear and evident that she has got it and presented the final statement from the Psymplicity “doctor” also confirmed, it was completely wrong and needed to be fixed.
I have sent the company MANY emails, every single time get the same response - We will check this and get back to you. NEVER, EVER did anyone from their scam, unknowledgeable, irresponsible company came back to me and offered anything. I keep following up the emails and always get the same answer - we will check this with our management and see what can we do about it.
It’s very easy what they can do - fix their mistake and get her seen by an actual doctor!
But they never, ever get back anymore.
I have never been rude when messaging them, I have given them the time to look into it. They are just a SCAM that care about nothing but your money. If they mess up, go and fix it somewhere else. They don’t wanna know. On the whole around we are £1100- £1200 down and have to go somewhere else to seek a professional diagnosis for our child.
The amount of time we lost on it, cost of additional specialist consultation, amount of stress they caused I can not even describe but strongly advise you - go somewhere else, so you don’t have to go through this yourself!”
“My initial care from Psymplicity was amazing. The admin team always responded quickly and were able to resolve any issues in a timely manner. I’m unsure if there has been a change in staff but for the past several months there has been a noticeable decline.
Psymplicity have refused to respond to DVLA with medical queries and do not respond to my requests for a report to be sent resulting in me being unable to drive for a year which has severely limited my ability to work.
Please do not use Psymplicity’s service if you will be required to notify DVLA about any medical condition as Psymplicity will do nothing to help and not care that it is having a very real negative impact on your life.”
