“Queer Lit is always a wonderful place to shop with, there's always a nice selection of different books as well as cards and accessories. I placed an order online for me to pick up in store; unfortunately, due to the postal strikes before Christmas it took a little longer to collect than normal. All my other orders have always been very quickly delivered and made ready however.”

“Website clear and easy to use. Huge range of titles that are organised and tagged very helpfully on the site so searching for what you want is easy. Nice wishlist option which is great for anything that is on backorder and you want to remember to get. Books always arrive quickly, beautifully wrapped and in perfect condition. I've ordered multiple times over the past year from Queer Lit and never ever had any issues. Super friendly and helpful staff both online and in store. Love that they have the opportunity to donate to whatever charity they're working with at the time. Makes it so easy to both support indie bookshops and a charity with a couple clicks. So glad Queer Lit exists 🖤”

“I’ve always enjoyed shopping with Queer Lit. They’re super friendly on social media and I’ve never had any issues with them. The books are always beautifully packaged and it’s such a joy to support a small queer business. I’m planning to visit Manchester just so I can visit them physically, they’re that good!”

“This was my first online order and unsuprisingly, the service was just as good as in store. They even emailed me to check if I wanted to swap one of my hardbacks for a paperback so I could get it in time for christmas. Books came quickly (considering the strikes - up the workers) and packaged perfectly.”

“I love ordering books from Queer Lit - they have such a great selection and variety of LGBTQ+ literature and they always wrap the books lovingly in colourful paper and stickers. I am always excited to unwrap and get reading when my package arrives!”

“Brilliant books for our 8.5 year old who has not stopped showing us all the different pride flags from his book and exclaimed he is going to marry a knight just like the prince. Finally, some books for him to enjoy with gay characters which are age appropriate. We will be back for sure! 😊”

“I've never had a bad experience shopping with Queer Lit either online or in store. The staff are lovely and knowledgeable and always happy to give recommendations. All the books, whether ordered online or bought in store, are wrapped beautifully in colourful tissue paper which just adds to the wonderful experience.”
