Hello We're not sure why you decided to leave us a negative review after we a) investigated and determined conclusively that your incorrect radio code was caused by you adding numbers into your radio's serial number that did not exist on your radio's label, causing a code for an entirely different model of radio to be generated, and b) decided to proactively refund your code anyway on the off chance that the issue was caused by our Vauxhall decoder page not being as clear as it could be for your rare model of radio. In light of the fact that you felt all of the above was still deserving of a 1-star review, and in light of the extensive amount of time we spent repeatedly explaining the above over 15+ emails, please be advised that we have now decided to reverse your refund and recoup our costs for generating your code. This now returns you to the position that you were in previously with respect to our Refund Policy - being ineligible for a refund due to entering numbers that did not exist on your radio's label. Hi Juan As was explained to you over several emails, your radio code was invalid because you entered your serial number incorrectly into our Vauxhall decoder. If you had entered your serial number correctly, you would have seen a warning stating that your radio is one of many Vauxhall radio codes that cannot be decoded from the serial number and needs to be taken to a specialist. This would be true regardless of whether you used us or another online decoder - these models simply cannot be decoded from the serial number or VIN. Hi David Like all of our radio codes, your radio code will have been accompanied by instructions which clearly state that in the rare event your code doesn't work to unlock your radio, the first port of call should be to contact our excellent customer support team, and never to immediately jump to posting a negative review. If you had done this and we were unable to provide a correct code for you, we would have refunded your £4.99 immediately. However after looking into this I can tell you that the reason an incorrect radio code was generated in your case was that you entered an incorrect serial number, by leaving out the last 3 numbers of your Ford's serial number. This is despite the fact we have extensive examples of correct serial numbers and their lengths on our Ford decoder page, as well as clear warnings in red stating to double-check that the serial number is correct. Because you posted a negative review without giving us an opportunity to resolve this issue first, in violation of the terms of our refund policy, we are now unable to provide a refund for this radio code.

Hi Emile, We don't have any record of you contacting us directly about your radio code not working for you. Like all of our radio codes, your radio code will have been accompanied by an instruction email which clearly states that in the rare event your code doesn't work, the first port of call should be to contact our excellent customer support team, and never to immediately jump to posting a negative review. In our experience 99% of incorrect radio codes are due to an incorrect serial number being entered into our decoders, but if it was determined that your radio is one of the rare few that have had their code reprogrammed from the original manufacturer code, you would have been provided a complete refund. As it stands we are now unable to provide this since - as stated in our refund policy - leaving a negative review without giving us an opportunity to resolve the issue will result in the waiving of the right to a refund.

As stated in the instruction email your code was sent in as well as in our refund policy, negative reviews are not a valid alternative to contacting our customer support team, as this gives us no opportunity to look into why your radio code was incorrect for your model of radio. In our experience 95% of incorrect radio codes are due to an incorrect serial number being entered into our decoders, but if it was determined that your radio is one of the rare few that have had their code reprogrammed from the original manufacturer code, you would have been provided a complete refund. Hi As mentioned in our email response to you, we conducted a thorough investigation of our system and found no evidence of any crash or errors in our server logs. We then inspected our advanced analytics software - which allows us to view and analyse our users' experiences of our site - and these showed that your transaction did reach the payment success page containing your code. We attached a screenshot of this evidence to our email and have received no response to it since, so we can only conclude that no such crash or error took place, and are forced to assume a motive of fraud or competitor sabotage. In addition to the above, like all of our radio codes your code was simultaneously sent to your email after payment, which you admitted to not checking until after purchasing the same radio code from one of our competitors. You then contacted us for the first time requesting a refund without having previously contacted us about any crashes or errors, which is a condition of our refund policy. It is therefore for all of the above reasons that the discretionary refund for your correct radio code was declined on this occasion. All the best RapidRadioCodes

Hi Peter Assuming that you have confirmed your provided radio code has worked to unlock your vehicle's radio, since new online decoding services are popping up every day we don't deny that it may be possible for you to find somewhere that can decode most older radios at a cheaper price. However, we still wouldn't call £4.99 "very expensive" by any stretch of the imagination, especially when this £4.99 pays for clear step-by-step guides, excellent customer service, and expertise that allows us to decode newer models that the cheaper online decoders do not have the knowledge or experience for. There's also the issue of longevity - all businesses have expenses and statistics show that most businesses do not last for long. A business charging dirt-cheap prices without considering how sustainable they are is much less likely to be around and dependable in a few years, whereas our radio codes are priced at the lowest possible price that is still profitable, ensuring that we can continue to offer these prices for many years to come.
