“I will never take a pet to the vets to pass away again. Rest Your Paws is the most beautiful way to farewell a pet. We contacted them 3 years ago when we knew the time had come to let our 19yr old dachshund go. It was heartbreaking but sooo peaceful for our little boy. They were the first people we called when we knew it was time for our lovely old cat to pass. The vet is always so compassionate and caring. We lit candles and kitty passed so peacefully surrounded by her family in her favourite place. When the time comes this is the best and most peaceful way for your pet.”
“I contacted RYP yesterday and spoke to a beautiful lady, Chloe, she was wonderful. We organised for a vet to come to my place that day. Chloe's beautiful caring and compassionate nature was very comforting. In the afternoon Dr Gosnia arrived, what a beautiful lady, she brought Macca's for my gorgeous Greyhound, Harlow. Everything was explained to us, it was the most peaceful time for us. Harlow drifted off to sleep, after her chicken nuggets and cheeseburger. I cannot thank you all for the care, respect and compassion you showed us. I highly recommend RYP if l could give 10 stars it wouldn't be enough. THANK YOU”
“I had very tough decision to make re when it was time to help my 14-year-old staffy, Wigglet, cross the rainbow bridge. Lauren guided me so well, with her recommendations but never imposing. When I felt it was time, cos her arthritis was obviously causing her more and more pain and she was already on the highest pain med regime, plus other therapies, Lauren came to our house and was so sweet, gentle, loving and patient, with both me, my daughter and Wigglet. 100% recommend!”

Dr Janet talked us through the procedure, noting that during which his eyes may remain open, she was so gentle with him (and us) and when he left us, snuggly wrapped in the fluffy bed, we felt that we had made the right decision for all. “Our gorgeous Charli cat gave our family so much love in the 16 years since he was first adopted by us. Our last heartbreaking day with him was made peaceful and so special as we said goodbye at home, on his favourite couch and blanket . We were given plenty of time to hold him, with candles and soft music playing. The vet was incredibly compassionate and let us have all the time we needed to talk to our boy and give him final cuddles and allow our dog (his best friend) to acknowledge him. It was a day of many tears, but also absolute relief knowing Charli went peacefully surrounded by so much love.”

Our beautiful Evie had a brain tumor and the incredible Dr Cindy came out to us on a Sunday with less than 24hours notice, saving us from having to take Evie into the car & a cold clinic for her final moments. Instead she was able to pass in her favorite place, in her favorite fluffy bed with her entire family around her, being comfortable & feeling loved.
