"The Savernake website grabbed my attention on a search for two new knives; I loved the style, the backstory and the owners clear passion for their trade. I also wanted something unique, that would last a lifetime, look great on the magnetic rack and finally, British made. \r\nI love the Nakiri shape and versatility but have a large Global already so opted for the Nimble Chopper. I also do a lot of BBQ and joint prep' so wanted a good boning knife, the 5\" Boner fitted the bill and I opted for the palm-swell you get with the contoured handle option for extra grip. The custom knife section gives so many options to create a truly unique knife. \r\nDelivery was around 6 weeks which was fine, you're investing in a bespoke, hand-made piece built from scratch so it's worth the wait. Updates via email on the production progress ease the pain! The final article is stunning, beautifully crafted, great to look at and super sharp out of the lovely packaging. \r\nThese are not cheap knives but the pleasure of owning, for a lifetime, will be worth it. Savernake offer after care services to make this a reality. These knives are lovely to use and their performance flatters my average knife skills but makes each kitchen task a joy.
