About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“I was nervous at first because my 20 month old daughter hates when excess fabric from her sleeves touches her hands. We use the scratch sleeves for when she sleeps, and at first she kept saying, “uh oh, uh oh”, but due to the softness of the fabric she got used to it and doesn’t fight us when we put them on. Her eczema is getting better because she is unable to scratch herself at night, and we’re all sleeping better because she isn’t screaming at night because she scratched till she bled. Thank you for the great product!”

“The delivery was super quick and the prices are brilliant compared to similar products and for the quality of the product. These have been an amazing answer to a huge amount of discomfort and lost sleep. Our little one is now sleeping in his own bed and almost without any disturbance after nights and nights of constant scratching. He now asks for us to put his sleeves on as he finds such relief from the itching when he wears them. Thank you scratch sleeves!!!”

“After a 6 weeks of my 20 month old scratching his face every night and nap time, creating awful sores, we have used these “sleepy mittens” for only a week and his face has healed. I was worried that he would be upset at wearing them but surprisingly is happy to put them on, having explained in advance. They are so soft and beautifully made. I am very grateful and highly recommend.”

“The scratch sleeves have really helped my baby break the itch scratch cycle. The material is incredibly soft and washes well. They come in a lovely range of colours and patterns too which make them less clinical. The only suggestion I have is to make another Range that you can fold over The mits yo expose the hands for play.”

“We don’t know what we would of done without these scratchsleeve tops. They have brought peace of mind to us with our daughters Eczema, especially leaving her to sleep at night knowing she wouldn’t scratch herself to pieces. They have brought great comfort to her also as she loves wearing her super teddy PJ top. They give great customer service and we have always received our purchases the next day. We would love to see a new product range with a thinner cotton PJ especially for those hot summer months. Keep up the good work scratchsleeves Thanks you”

“Perfect product for the task! Problem: Elderly person starts to scratch themselves. This is a behaviour found often with people living with dementia. It makes the carer feel utterly helpless at first because you do not know at all what to do to stop them doing it because it can lead to many scratch marks all over the body which can get infected leading onto or provoking other health issues. So stopping them is a major concern. Checking self-help groups and their advice lead to searching for this specific product, as small children tend to scratch themselves, too, occasionally. Eventually, the browser search flagged up ScratchSleeves. Their product range is destined for the use with children, so ordering the biggest size was a bit of a "hit or miss" approach. Well, it definitely was a "bull's eye hit". It worked perfectly and several more were ordered to cover the different phases (in use - getting washed - stand-by). ScratchSleeves was rung to give feedback on the product and maybe adapt their website to the needs of a new target group (care for the elderly). Anyway, their product did the trick and worked perfectly. Thank you!!!”

“I have several lots of scratch sleeves and they work for better than scratch mitts which come off easily and few lots of pjs for both of my kids if you want to stop your kids from scratching themselves to bits at night then do try these out”
