About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“These scratch sleeves are absolutely wonderful! Made from soft, breathable fabric, they ensure comfort all night long, keeping the little one cosy without overheating. After several washes, they remain as soft and colorful as the first day. Highly recommended for parents looking for great sleepwear for their kids to stop itching!”

“Fabulous for stopping scratching during an eczema flare. Breaks the itch/scratch cycle. My daughter’s skin has seen a dramatic improvement plus a reduction in use of steroid cream. Such a simple but very effective solution.”

“A very nice product and affordable. Helps with the little one's eczema during sleep time and he doesn't mind having them on. Got to test out and will buy another pair so we can have one in the car. Delivery was nice and smooth”

“This product is great and does exactly what I need it to do - stop my almost 2 year old from pulling her hair out when falling asleep and when in her car seat. I’ve ordered 3 pairs now and when I provided incorrect info with my last order, the issue was resolved quickly by the company. Definitely recommend.”

“Scratch sleeves are an absolutely fantastic product. They were a lifesaver in our house my little boy had a skin condition and they stopped him tearing at his skin and the silk on the ends stopped him getting any friction . Amazing”

“The most fantastic product ever for children with eczema! My son has been using them on and off for nearly 15 years and they are by far the most effective product, we've found, to help with the scratch itch cycle, a real life saver. It's great to see them in larger sizes now, so we know he can keep using them as he grows! Thank you for a fabulous product!”

“I’m only giving 4 stars because i wish the hand part of the sleeve had a section that would fold over, freeing the hands so my child can eat and still pick things up when he needs. Also would love a button to make the sleeve more secure. At the moment i am using a pin so he doesn’t slip out of the sleeve so easily. But overall this has been a life saver for us and definitely helps at nighttime.”

“I am so impressed with these! I was originally on the hunt for something I could use for my 2 year old who has significant learning disabilities and often scratches his face/ears in frustration and these have been fab for him! The 2-3 years fit him lovely. They were posted to me so quickly I couldn’t believe it! Parents & caregivers, if your young person has a skin condition or like my son, hurts himself then I really rate these! Excellent product”

“The scratch sleeves have been a life saver for my little boy when it comes to stopping him scratch. Ordinary mitts just fall off or he pulls them off and we find that the mitts built into sleepsuits are very rough so still agravate his skin. Scratch sleeves are so soft and gentle and there’s no chance of him getting them off. Also the customer service team are amazing, I’d ordered the wrong size for one set and got in touch and the team replied straight away and were very helpful all the way through and guided me through the exchange process which made it very easy. We would definitely recommend anyone who’s child suffers with ezcema to get these asap.”

“I am glad these exist and have been restocking them for a year now. They are an important player in the overwhelming battle that is managing severe childhood eczema. As for constructive feedback. There seems to have been some change with the manufacture at times, with some pajama tops wearing out very quickly and developing holes in the sleeves, while others have lasted until outgrowth. For the most part I have to rebuy before outgrowth occurs due to wear. Perhaps the fabrics could be sturdier, and the type of silk used could be settled on as it has seemed to change and sometimes not for the better. The pink teddy bear picture peels off, so I avoid that color. The trousers run really quite long. We pair the 18mo bottoms with the 2yr top. The pajamas with shoulder buttons and the sleeves with velcro are much better, as the other varieties are too easy to wiggle out of. It is thoughtful to offer the wet sleeves as well so that bathtime isn't so devastating on the skin during flareups.”

Thank you for your review. It is great that our products are helping your little one. We have not changed they way we manufacture our products or the materials we use, so we are keen to look into this further for you. Please email us images showing the wear and holes in the products, we think we may have a solution which is better suited to your little one's needs. With regards to the sleepy bear PJ tops, I am sorry that this has happened. We are beginning to have some sizes screen printed, with the aim to eventually have them all printed this way. So this should not be an issue going forward.

“These are amazing and my daughter has bad excema so needs to wear them during the night or she scratches until she bleeds. The top fits her body well. The sleeves are crazy long and go down to her knees! Once her hands ended there are still 3 inches of sleeve left. We have just made a game out of flapping the long sleeves. She is wearing 3-4 and is 3 and a half. She loves the super hero and the pretty bow in her hair.”

Thank you for your review. It is lovely to hear that your little one's loves the design of our Superhero PJ top! We advise ordering based on your child’s wingspan measurement. Children’s proportions vary hugely, meaning age range is not always an accurate guide to fit. Getting the correct size is important, because if they are too large then your child's hands will not sit in the mitts as intended.
