About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“Exactly what I was looking for. Stopped my 6 month old boy from scratching his face and legs. He would take mittens off in seconds where as the sleeves stay on. Perfect fit and washes well. Would highly recommend.”

“My daughter was pulling her hair out in her sleep and these have absolutely worked a treat! We have kept one hand free which she sucks her thumb with and the other hand is covered with the sleeve and apart from being slightly upset when we popped it on the first time at bed she had been absolutely fine and most importantly it hasn’t disturbed her sleep and has stopped the hair pulling! Very happy!!”

“These products have been absolutely brilliant for us. Our baby has severe eczema and will try and scratch constantly. The silk ends mean she does far less damage to her skin when rubbing overnight. I highly recommend to anyone with a youngster struggling with eczema.”

“Brilliant product. We have purchased a few sets of these scratch mois for our son. Initially when he was younger they were a great aid in helping him to stop scratching his skin during an outbreak of his eczema. Now we use them for him.to stop picking his skin. Highly receommended. A purchase you will not regret. 5*”

“We were using socks on our babies hands as he has severe eczema and spends so much time in the night rubbing his face and head and even with the softest socks he was still rubbing his head raw, but since we use the scratch sleeves he isn’t able to cause so much damage as the mits are so soft. We don’t have to worry about them coming off in the night either. They are fantastic and are a staple in our house now.”

“My son has severe eczema on his wrists and does not stop iscatching until he makes them bleed especially during the night. Since applying the scratch sleeves his wrists have really improved. The sleeves are well made and of quality silk. I've washed a couple of times and I think as long as you follow instructions there really should not be any problems. Well made and very comfortable. My son keeps them on during the night and has learnt to use them during the day especially when playing on his tablet.”

“The sleeves were purchased for my 8 month old granddaughter who was going to Turkey with her parents for a week’s holiday. Previously it was necessary to keep her in long sleeves and leggings to deter her from on scratching but the sleeves meant she cd wear all the pretty dresses and shorts and be as cool as all the other children. Her skin has really improved as a result of the exposure and inability to scratch. The mits are soft and silky and she accepted wearing them quite quickly. Definitely would have been a different holiday experience without them. Now that she is home they will continue to be worn when her little legs and arms are bare. A brilliant, simple idea that really works.”

“We've used these on my son since he was three months old he's now 14 months old. These have been life changing for him he can no longer scratch and infect his eczema. If he's getting tierd at nursery they put his scratch sleeves on and he happily goes to sleep with out causing any harm to his face or legs They are super soft and wash really well.”

“We bought Scratchsleeves for our 18 month old when she developed a habit of pulling her hair when falling asleep. It was so upsetting to see her doing this but Scratchsleeves have completely resolved this. Fantastic product- great quality & so comfortable for our little one to wear under her sleeping bag. She loves wearing it. Only enhancement would be to add a fastener to stop the sleeves falling off her shoulders.”

“I am so grateful for discovering scratchsleeves which have been an absolute godsend to our lives. My baby developed excema all over her face and body from around 4 months of age and would only really feel comforted enough to sleep by sleeping on me or her dad at night which was just not sustainable for us longterm. When we did put her in her cot she would be constantly itchy and scratching, tearing at her face with her usual cotton scratch mittens. What I found is that with her regular cotton mittens which we either built into her baby grow or separate ones that I put on each night, the cotton fabric was still rough and her face would get really sore and also her fingers would escape the mits and she would hurt herself. So she was caught in an itch scratch cycle where she just couldn't sleep as if she rubbed her face through tiredness it would get itchy and sore, she would then rub more and cry and so it went on like this all night every night with her mits often covered in blood and her face red raw. I pinned all my hopes onto scratchsleeves even though I knew I shouldn't but was so desperate for something that would help my baby to sleep. Above all the other things I have implemented like oilatum baths,steroid creams, dietery changes etc. scratchsleeves are by far the standout thing that have made the biggest difference to our lives. Our baby can now rub her eyes and face out of tiredness or itchyness without hurting herself and no longer spends her nights caught in the itch scratch cycle. They worked almost instantly really, she still gets itchy and sratches at he face but because the mits have a dual layer of cotton and soft silk, she cant actually hurt herself, she no longer scratches incessantly and her skin has the chance to heal at night. She has a little rub or scratch and carries on sleeping because she can't actually hurt herself. I use the original scratchsleeves for daytime naps and the pj sets for nights as they are nice and cosy and my baby is really comfy in them. I did have an issue where the pj top had a hole in it after just one wear and scratchsleeves immediately sent me a replacement as well as a complimentary scratchsleeves by way of apology which was a really helpful gesture. I also really like that they design the p&p to fit through a standard letterbox as that is really helpful if your not at home, at least you will not have to go and find your item with a neighbour or at the post office depot; life with an excema baby is stressful enough! I really can't fault this company in any way; an exsemplary product, great customer service and really useful info on their website to help with life with an excema baby. “Bought the 12-18 months PJs set. The trousers are very loose on my 14 month old but he is small, so I had to sew them at the waist to fit him, but it does mean they should last a long time! I'm really happy with the product and there is noticeable improvement in his eczema on his ankles where he can no longer scratch himself at night. Well made and wishing I had bought these sooner.”

“The material is incredible, and the sleeves stay so nice and secure all night. Definitely has improved my quality of sleep, and I no longer wake up with new random scratches on my face and arms! The only thing I've tried so far that really prevents me from scratching. Will definitely be ordering more scratch sleeves!”
