About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“I bought some Scratch Sleeves pyjamas for my toddler to prevent her from picking a sore on her face when she slept. They arrived very quickly, and are made of a lovely soft cotton. I was concerned she wouldn't like having her hands covered, but she loves them - she is still able to pick up her teddies etc through them, and thinks the special mittened arms are there to keep her hands warm, which she thinks is great. They have worked very well - her sore has now healed (thank goodness) and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family with kids in a similar situation. My only watch out would be the sizing (although not enough of a watch out to lose a star) - the top fitted well but the pj bottoms were huge on her. Not a problem for us as we didn't need the bottoms, but worth bearing in mind if you do need covered feet as well.”

“Item came in good time and looked great. I have a 9 month old and had ordered a 12 - 18 month size so it was a bit long on the arms but fitted well on the body, just as I had though it would. Washed and dried it following instructions, and it shrunk!! Still fits, but not for long. Great at helping to stop the scratching.”

“Amazing! Saved my daughter’s skin. These sleeves prevent her from scratching her eczema at night, helping to break the itch-scratch cycle. Unlike gloves, they can’t fall off during sleep. Her skin is much much better now, and she sleeps better. They are also very well made and very reasonably priced. I bought 4 of them!”

“The pjs I ordered were perfect for my little man. They are very comfortable for him and stop him itching his ankles, wrists and face at night. Since ordering the pjs he has slept all through the night meaning we've all slept like babies :) The only downside is the waist band on the bottoms are quite wide for my little boy and the top is short but otherwise it is an amazing product and I am going to definitely order more!!”

“This was just what I was looking for! I have a little girl (almost 3) who sucks her thumb at bedtime. So much so that she was causing them to become very sore. I had tried plasters and thumbsies - both of which she would fall asleep with on but then take off if she woke during the night. With these, the first night she was a bit angry as she couldn’t take it off (as I put it on beneath her short sleeve pyjama top) but then second, third night onwards she became used to it and now happily wears them. She now brings her “special sleeves” to me to put on her before bed. Here’s hoping we finally nip the thumb sucking in the bud ??”

“We would be at a loss without scratch sleeves. My 2yr old son has worn them since he was 6months old and they are saving his poor eczema covered skin. They are very good quality cotton, perfect for letting skin breath. Silky ends to stop friction rubbing when trying to scratch. We have the bolero type sleeve, the Velcro sleeve and now the pyjama top.”
