“After wearing a new pair of Maui Jim sunglasses that cost £130 for a single day, I put them in the case provided. Upon opening the case the next day, I discovered that the sunglasses had warped and bent in accordance with the shape of the case. I returned this item expecting a replacement pair; however, the manufacturer claimed that the damage was due to "improper maintenance" with no further explanation provided. Shade Station has taken no accountability for this false claim made by the manufacturer of sunglasses that they sell. Furthermore, they have not made the appropriate effort to resolve this utterly unacceptable and unreasonable excuse for rejected a warranty claim. I am incredibly disappointed with service that I have recieved.”

I actually never make time to write reviews, but here I gladly make an exception.
This was my worst online shopping experience so far. They are blatantly misinforming people and pretending to be affordable.
Firstly I was scammed into paying an extra 40€ - after I had already paid for my glasses. They claimed my lenses would otherwise come out too thick. The lenses eventually delivered were as thick as they come - I doubt you can even make thicker lenses nowadays. It was simply a lie.
Secondly, when they were delivered, I had to pay an additional 22€ for delivery. After I had already paid a significant amount for 'international delivery'. And nowhere on the website it is covered that there may be extra costs.
I would suggest you buy on another platform. Most are reliable and supportive, and you get a good product and a good service.

“I'm only giving 1 as 0 isn't available. Do not buy prescription glasses, especially reduced thickness lenses. As you get standard lenses and a pair of specs with minimal vision. Totally useless, had to go to vision express to get the lenses corrected. Trying to return the mistake is a nightmare. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.”

“Don’t waste your money with this company. They maybe a little cheaper than other companies but they will send you a product that is used before. Then when you return the faulty/used item you have to pay for the postage. Their customer service is rubbish too as they don’t keep their promise.
I made a mistake and ignored other negative reviews and this has cost me time and money. I am yet to receive my refund!!! AVOID”
“Wish I could give no stars..7-10 working days just to process a return after paying over the odds in returns postage fees? Plus time waiting for the glasses to be fixed and then shipped back out. Working day 9 today still no further, haven't even been looked at, and when emailing to enquire I'm told of the backlog of returns they have to get through, not exactly a good advertisement.
Ordered glasses with an upload of prescription and they couldn't even get that right. Could not see a thing out of them. Returned to be rectified but I'm not confident they will be any better. Absolutely stinking customer service, replies are copied and pasted never investigated. I never leave bad reviews but I am absolutely fed up with this company. Please don't waste your time and take your money elsewhere.”

“Received lenses that were damaged, VERY unhelpful and not willing to help. Asked for postage label to send back, they refused to issue even though no fault of my own. Asked for reasonable compensation for inconvenience as the post office is out of my way and queues are horrendous so likely to waste an hour of lunch break. I asked for an additional £10 compensation in form of credit where I would buy another frame, not helpful or sympathetic to something of their error! This was second-time id used them and the credit would have meant I ordered a third frame and a loyal, happy customer but they weren't interested in customer satisfaction so I will not be using them again!”
“Don't order from this company if you are in Australia. I ordered Oakley Snow Goggles for my son's birthday as he was going on a snow boarding trip and paid an extra $30 AUD for speedy delivery and the goggles arrived 2 weeks after he was back home from his holiday!! The company claims the extremely slow delivery was because I gave a PO Box address, but I was never advised this wasn't acceptable, & was never contacted for an alternate address, which I could have easily provided. Even once I did give my street address it took another week to arrive!!! The only compensation they provided for their incompetance was a refund for the "speedy delivery"!!!”
