I ended up buying the brackets that did not work so that was a waste of money and I should have went wider. This could have been helpful when I was speaking to someone. Overall the wood shutters arrived nice and earlier than expected.”

“We placed a large order of 18 cedar shutters that were 101 inches tall. The build and craftsmanship of each shutter was outstanding and exactly to our specs. Superior shutters. The only issue was that the shutters were painted black per our order and did not dry enough before the company packed them together and shipped. As we pulled the shutters apart from the crate, most of the shutters stuck together and paint pulled off. The company did provide touch up paint which we used to touch up about every shutter. More drying time would be better. And would really like a few more emails from the company letting us know of progress. We got just one email,saying the shutters had shipped. The email came to us a sours before they were being delivered to us by the last mile delivery company. Good thing we were already in contact with the delivery company. Overall, a superior shutter build. Beautiful hand crafted shutters! Just need a few minor operational improvements to be an outstanding company.”
Thank you for your full and honest review. We sincerely apologize for the paint issue you experienced, and we have since resolved that temporary problem. We generally send a notification email the day after the completed shutters depart our facility. Rarely, but occasionally, the shipment is ready for delivery the next day. We are sorry we did not give you more notice. We are certain you will enjoy your shutters for many years to come.
The referenced surcharge is applied to orders of just one wood, composite, or PVC shutter. We wish this charge wasn't necessary, but it is needed to cover shipping rates. We will always make customers aware of the charge prior to finalizing the order. We could establish a two shutter minimum order, but we would rather give homeowners the option. “Shutters were exactly as promised. All materials and paint finish were top quality. Shutterland online site is extremely informative about the different types of shutter materials, the quality of paints and how they are applied, the ability to choose the exact dimensions of the shutters to fit your needs and how the shutters are manufactured.
We ordered three sets of different size cedar shutters finished in black. Perfectly cut to our exact size, black finish was thorough and even with no drip marks and the louvers were evenly spaced and all at the same angle. Shutterland land runs the gamut from inexpensive shutters to top of the line. We were not disappointed.”

“I was extra careful when placing my order as I have several different size windows. I needed 11 shutter pairs and placed my order. I got the order delivered to my home in about 5-6 weeks. Everything was perfect, except the hardware was missing. I called Shutterland and they shipped the hardware to us. My builder was able to paint and install the shutters. They look great, painted red!”
