“Seven of the twelve shutters lacked paint on the edges. That delayed hanging them until the paint was applied and dried. The touch up paint did not arrive with the order and that too delayed the worktoo. My guess is that the robot that painted them missed the edges.”
We sincerely apologize for this oversight. Shortly before your order was completed, we implemented a new finishing system, and unfortunately, your order was affected during that transition. We take full responsibility for the error and regret that it occurred.

“The shutters themselves were perfect. Exactly what we ordered and I was highly impressed. However the delivery company was another matter. Why you would use a low-rent company like Estes Express for the shipping of your high end product I have no idea. It really diminishes the experience.
The driver did not feel confident backing his truck into the driveway so he left it on the busy street. The truck had been packed so poorly he had to take two pallets off the truck before he could get to ours and then he still said he couldn't get our pallet out. He had to call his dispatch and they were yelling at him and then me that it was CURB ONLY!! I finally ended up unloading the shutters myself, all ten, going into and out of his truck ten times on the lift at the back (I am a 60 yr old woman!) He said he would get into trouble for that but he didn't have any other way to do it so c'est la vie! Don't use them - they damage your brand!”

Unfortunately, there are limited transportation options available for larger shutters. Estes has performed satisfactorily for us in the past, but we will now reexamine our shipping procedures and carrier options to help prevent this kind of experience in the future.
“the product came in fine, but prior to ordering and I had questions, calling the CSR was really unhelpful and could have cared less if I bought or not and did not give me any advise. I ended up buying the brackets that did not work so that was a waste of money and I should have went wider. This could have been helpful when I was speaking to someone. Overall the wood shutters arrived nice and earlier than expected.”
