“Sum's socks are super nice! Very beautiful designs and great aesthetics - a great change from other running socks. They are good at moisture wicking, and stay in place, and no blisters at all. I'm training for a half marathon, and I'm using these for all my training sessions so far. I am wearing them with Hoka trainers and I find them quite hot inside the shoes, but I think this is more about the shoe than the sock. Would reccomend”
“Socks are really high quality, used them for a 10k race. However I did still get a blister on my toe which I had hoped I wouldn’t as these socks are advertised as blister free. But they are really comfortable and I can’t say that the blister wasn’t because my racing shoes may be too small.”
“Great socks love the colour ways. But seemed to change texture after washing (at the recommended temp). They are great for runs and hikes over the last couple of months”
“Snug fit, love the grips, comfy plush trail socks. Take a while to dry out if you get your feet wet/ compromise I guess with cushioning. Proper quality socks though.”
“First run and I found the socks very comfortable, no hinit of any rubbing and my feet felt fresh. A bigger test a waits this weekend as I'll be on my feet for 2.5/3hrs.”
“Really great socks, comfortable for any length run and attractice design. The only down side it mine were a little tight, I went for size 'M' but probably should have gone with 'L' (size 10 mens in shoes). At least I'll know for next time I order.”
“they are very comfortable. worked a treat for my intervals run recently. trying them out for my longer runs soon. However, i am a size 8 and the size i got come up quite small, on refelction i would have liked a larger size.”
“Purchased on a whim and I’ve certainly nothing to complain about. Appear and feel good quality and fit me nicely (8.5UK foot size). Went for a boggy and snowy 28km trail run at a -2*C to 0*C today and the socks performed well.”
“I have purchased a pair of Sums to help with my ultra training. At first I was unsure how they felt as I have got the medium length ones and thought they would be more elasticated, however I can’t complain as they are doing what they say they would and they are still comfy.
Around the 15km mark on my runs I feel a slight rub under my left foot but I think if it wasn’t for the Sums I’d probably have a raging blister already.
Around the rest of my feet no issues and not sweaty after my runs whatsoever. I will definitely buy a few more pairs throughout the year.”
“V nice design, quality & packaging. Would suggest sizing up as I'm size 10 & the mediums are too tight. That's probably the reason I'm not running like Tom Evan's at the moment.”
“Unbelievably comfortable and snug fit without choking out your toes. I’d say one drawback I’ve noticed is your feet get quite sweaty in them? But when you’re running through bog and streams, it’s no issue. Bought two pairs, will definitely be buying more”
“Bought 2 pairs as a present for son. He’s a big runner and said these were the best socks. Ordered easily and received quickly. Not given to son yet. So not sure re wear etc.”
“I’m no pro runner, but I really like the feel of the sums sock. Equally love the aesthetic as it was probably my deciding factor for going for sums over other running socks. Only issue I’ve really had is I’m a size 10.5/11 with a wide foot and I’ve tried the size M which seemed to be too small and size L which initially is too big. It does vary for type of sock, with the all seasons being most like my description. The ascenders are slightly tighter and feel like maybe they could be sized down one but other than that I absolutely love them. The cushion deluxe are most likely my favourite pair as they are nice and stretchy an easy to put on my wide feet but equally have great padding and comfortability particularly when in the shoe. Would highly recommend sums to a friend”
“I've bought four pairs is Sums' socks - the club casual and comfort deluxe - and really enjoy wearing them. They look great, feel great and wash well. The only drawbacks are the stitching ripping where the lighter upper sock meets the cushioned heel/ankle fabric (club casual) and suffering a blister on a 7km run (comfort deluxe). I wholly accept, though, that my technique for putting on the socks might have caused the partial tear and the blister could have been down to the shoes or poor technique.”
