“I have 2 children who attend The Code Zone online classes. Both of my children are neurodiverse.
Firstly, their customer services is great. They are very patient and signing up was easy. There were no sales calls which was great because a lot of the other companies that sell coding classes seem to bombard you with calls.
The teachers are amazing and very patient. My son (7 years) actually plays the games that they learn to code. Lauren especially has been AMAZING with my son.
My daughter is 13 and I was nervous as to whether she would enjoy it or not. She LOVES the classes and has learned so much.
I was really apprehensive about whether my children’s needs could be met but Code Zone has exceeded by expectations. The price is very reasonable, the teaching is good and I would highly recommend The Code Zone.”

The Code Zone is a safe & happy place for my son who is showing natural talent and it is being recognised by the coders; which is a huge confidence boost for him.
The team is brilliant with finding a spot if he is unable to attend his class so he doesn’t miss out.
His tutor Lewis is brilliant. The way he runs the sessions is outstanding. My son George is engaged, happy & calm and that is down to Lewis. You wouldn’t be able to tell George has ADHD when doing these sessions.
Lewis is a great person & I see that through my son. To the point last week his Y7 tutor asked them what they wanted to do in the future. George said he wanted to be a coder like Lewis.
Learning & retaining for George doesn’t come naturally so to see this in him is beautiful. I am so proud of my son to see him excel in a passion he has. The only people I can thank for this is The Code Zone because without this service he wouldn’t have experienced this feeling & inclusion.

“I was worried my son would quickly loose interest with this club however he looks forward to his weekly live video call with his mentor Calum. There is a new game every week with new challenges set so this keeps him engaged. The price is fair and I would definitely recommend having the live club sessions as it's much easier to learn from discussions. Also Calum has been great at identifying strengths and moving my son up to levels that give him more of a challenge from the very first session. Customer service team are friendly and helpful, and have always reached out to make sure I am happy afterwards.”

“Our 7.5 year old son who doesn't like any clubs or activities leaps out of bed on Tuesdays and starts coding and then rushes home from school and does a countdown to his "Club". He LOVES it. He has gone from needing us to sit with him and not saying a word in session 1 to shouting singing and asking questions while playing and coding independently for an hour each week- its fantastic. The mentors are so calm, patient supportive and inclusive and generally "Cool". A fabulous model from start to finish - I'm sure itll be a positive part of our lives for a long time to come :)”

“My 8 year old daughter has absolutely loved her time with Codezone. In particular her mentor Lauren was a joy with the kids in her group. Kind, funny, patient! All the mentors we’ve had have been excellent at holding the space for every child in the session, allowing for chat, questioning with fun. My daughter also has ADHD ans can sometimes struggle with instructions or waiting her turn, and only received kindness and encouragement every week. “My son recently started his live group sessions and he absolutely loves them! I have always had trouble getting him to commit to groups and clubs but not with this one. He loves his lessons with Veronica and gets excited on a Thursday night even more so now knowing that not only is it nearly the weekend but he has his coding lesson. He actually said ‘YESSSS’ on Thursday night as he was going to bed. I asked him what he was so happy about and he said for his coding lesson tomorrow. He is so proud of himself and his games he has done so far and loves showing me and his family what he has done. He even plays and codes the games during the week as well. I would recommend this club to anyone! Absolutely fantastic and I’m so glad I signed my son up!”

“My 9 year old son loves his Code Zone sessions. He has had Veronica and Lauren, both of whom are great. He is progressing really well with Scratch and will soon be doing some Python too. The tutors keep an eye on how the kids are doing and move them up levels so even though it is fun and centred around making and playing games, they are always learning.”
