“This was my first time shopping with the hippie shake and I was very pleased! The garments were lovely and customer service was honestly unlike I’ve experienced with other brands. I had some issues with shipping and Ailish was so lovely and helpful! I look forward to shopping in the future.”

“Clothes are beautiful, sizing is ..off. Ordered multiple items from the store, two dresses in size 12, a top in size 12 and trousers. One dress fit me perfectly in size 12 and the other one was too big. The top in size 12 is too small. I had some problems with my second order, shipping took way too long and I ended up getting my order two months later, after having to contact the shop about it. I love the items but I just wish the sizing wasn´t so off, I have a top and a dress I can´t wear nor return or exchange (I don't live in the uk so it would be too expensive)”

“I am always so weary of buying clothes online since there is no certainty about quality, but the Hippie Shake has never disappointed me. I have bought a significant amount of clothes from them and every single piece is beautiful. It can be really difficult to find clothes in this style that aren't made for size 0s. Being able to find clothes that feel vintage, but are brand new, and actually fit and flatter me is wonderful. I feel confident in my new wardrobe and finally, feel like I can dress the way I have always wanted.”

“I’ve bought 4 products recently- the clarabella dress in green, the swimsuit, the heart sunglasses and the bikini. All are stunning quality and both online orders arrived quickly with no issues. I absolutely LOVE that most products come in an 18-20, it’s an absolute nightmare to find flattering 70s style clothing for bigger figures. I tried on a few other garments at the pop up which were all extremely flattering too which I find extremely rare as a size 18 apple shape- they seem to be almost universally flattering. I’ve only knocked off one star as I felt the bikini top wasn’t quite scaled up properly for the larger size, it still looks gorgeous but the top is very short so it looks a bit skimpy on a fuller figure compared to the model photos, and the internal removable cups are very small, I would guess the same ones are used for all sizes. It would also be nice to see even more size inclusivity for above a 20 though I appreciate this is obviously not easy for a small business. For these reasons I’ve given 4 stars, but will definitely continue to be a loyal customer.”

“I struggled to give this the third star, but maybe it’s just because I was able to see some of the products in person at the pop up shop. The first time I ordered something, the service and shipping was incredible. The quality of the garment was great, although one of the buttons was a different print than the rest of the garment, and it’s very noticeable. Other than this the overall quality is amazing. I started having problems, however, with my second order. If you are a shorter petite person like I am, The Hippie Shake trousers are simply unwearable, even at the smallest size, they are far too big. I went to exchange them for some other items, and the responses were very slow, and only came after I chased multiple times weeks apart. In this time the items I originally wanted to exchange for had sold out. This happened twice, the first time being before I even got confirmation to exchange, the second being while waiting for an update after having sent the parcel back. I am still waiting on my return/exchange to be processed after weeks, even though tracking says that the parcel was delivered back weeks ago. This is a real shame, as I really want to love this brand, and aesthetically it is beautiful, however after this experience I am unlikely to buy anything again unless I can see it in person. The sizing is unreliable, which is not a good thing when support takes this long to get back to you about returns.”
