"This company just tells lies after lies to sell vehicles and won’t admit the vehicle has issues even tho they confirmed it needs New engine.
I have to fill up the oil every 600-700 miles.
I paid out for an Independent inspection report because the burden of proof became mine because they refused my rejection of the vehicle. the inspection stated that vehicle was faulty at the time of purchase they haven’t even responded to this report.
I then get an email from Stephen George Group Operations Director stating that I choose to buy a second hand vehicle that had done 45,000 miles and was 6 years old what do I expect ( thats why I purchased it from an approved Volkswagen dealer) he then lies to VW Comercial customer service telling them the fault didn’t occur until after I had driven the vehicle 10,000mile this was another lie.
I purchased the vehicle on the 15/2/24 after I was assured by the son of the JCB Group Jacob Bischoff that the MOT advisory’s had been done (Via email) new Rear Pads & Discs, windscreen repair and that the master Technician had said the rear main oil leak was minor (all these needed doing after 12/4/24 after being told they couldn’t look at the vehicle any sooner.
Engine management light on, new EGR, new Rear pads & Discs, front main oil seal, 3 new windscreens, 2 new wing mirrors, heater Arm, new drive shaft and now need new engine that Stephen George is refusing to admit it had an issue as I’m still driving it (only because I keep filling it back up with oil) he still says it’s fit for purpose?
I reported the oil burning smell on the 11/3/24 driven less than 800 miles.
I have been fighting to reject this vehicle since 10/4/2024.
They then supposedly repaired all the issues with the vehicle.
Windscreen still not working, oil burning smell reported again 1/5/24.
Engine management light back on EGR needed flushing again.
New Engine, DPF & CAT required
VW Customer After care have agreed to pay 70% (so admission of the fault) But Stephen George Group Operations Director has blocked the repair after receiving a phone call from the Ashford branch giving it the go ahead up Steps Stephen George again blocking the repair stating I’m responsibly for the other 30% (£3056 + VAT) but he still insist the vehicle is fit for purpose because it’s still being driven due to the fact I am filling it up with oil supplied but them.

Please Note the company has given me no other option than to start putting negative reviews as I have given them every chance to resolve this issue"
