“Careful! ThinkInsurance admit to making administraive errors of refund calulation errors, not once but twice, and only queried and questioned to a large sum! So many mistakes in their handling of my families renewal policy, The fees do not add up on cancelling a policy in line with received T&Cs for 2 days after pressure selling tactics on renewal of not providing much time to search eleswhere. They even admit these faults, errors and they continue to stack up! Absolutely crazy how this company continues to take people for a ride.

“I took insurance out with Think Insurance who gave me a good quote on a motor home. Unfortunately 6 weeks after purchasing this I had to ask for a full refund from the company I purchased it from due to many issues. I no longer needed the insurance so contacted Think expecting to loose around half of my policy I paid for up front. This was not to be the case. I paid £206 for one years insurance but after eight weeks of waiting for a refund I received just £ 56 as a refund, I was initially informed by letter if would be £ 62 but no not even that. I would never recommend them to anyone, they have taken 75% of a years policy that was running for 6 weeks with no claims.”
“Not happy. Been with this company four years... DD bounced yesterday by genuine mistake and within 24hrs they were demanding a £45 fee for the policy to remain active. Was told not to bother making a complaint would be wasting my own time. Had no choice but to pay and of course they immediately set the DD back up no issues with the click of a button. “As a broker they have failed to send my required documents to Trade Wise Insurance company which ended up myself receiving a Notice of Cancellation letter from the insurance underwriter (Trade Wise) because of the outstanding document that was NOT sent to the Trade Wise from Think Insurance Broker.
I have a proof of email which shows that I have sent all the required documents to my broker which is Think Insurance on the 9th December 2021 and when I called Trade Wise (underwriter) today (20/12/2021) they said they have requested the documents from think insurance on the 9th December but Think Insurance failed to send the required documents and if as a customer I did not chase this; then they were going to cancel my insurance after 14 day period which would effect my insurance background/history in a really bad way.
Overall, I spoke to the Think Insurance customer services today and they have also confirmed that they have failed to send the required documents which means they have failed to do their task/job.
I am not happy with the service that think insurance has provided so far, I will not return to them again.
As a customer, I had to chase both of these companies up to fight for my policy from getting cancelled.
Think Insurance was not even aware of the outstanding document if I did not call them and talk about the letter I have received. Once I have called the Think Insurance then they have finally sent the required document to Trade Wise today (on the day of receiving Notice of Cancellation).
Again, I am not happy.
In my opinion, Think Insurance did not meet the FCA Regulations in this case/scenario.
