I am a little disappointed so far. Nowhere in the instruction booklet does it say to treat the area 3 times. So for the first 1.5 weeks I did only one pass over all of my treatment areas. It wasn't until I saw the little card with the offer for the Reviver after leaving a review did I see that there was a "NOTE: Make sure that you pass each area 3 times and use the device on level 6 or higher." I had been using it at level 7, thank goodness. I have been treating each area 3 times for the last 2.5 weeks. It takes a really long time. I am doing my legs, bikini area, and underarms and it takes at least 2 hours. I haven't noticed any decreased hair growth yet, after using it twice a week for 5 weeks. I realize I might be behind since I hadn't been passing each area 3 times for the first 3 sessions, but I still would think I should notice something at this point. I REALLY want this to work, so I am going to keep using it. I will update the review after 8 weeks.

The device is bigger than I expected. The flash is very bright but the box does not come with protective eyewear. I’ve been using it for 8 weeks now and there is only minimal hair removal. The hair only seems to have regrown slightly thinner but the roots are still intact. Will continue to use Nood and hopefully achieve my desired results.

It's a good idea compared to professional hair removal because of the price, but it doesn't work as well.

My offer came with an offer for a free toner if you write a review. The QR code doesn’t work. I reached out to customer service. I can now leave a review but I cannot claim my free toner.

It is good, but be careful about going over same área because you can burn yo urself. I havent done it long enough to see permanent removal but slower growth is evident. Those white línes are From going over same área too much

I have been using mood for 7 weeks now, I didn’t see any results by week 5 so I wrote to customer service. They said to put it on level 7. I did and I have burned marks all over my arms and legs. I wrote to them and their response was “did you do the skin test to try the comfort level on your skin?” After, they suggested for me to use on level 7. It seems like anything less than level 7 doesn’t give me results and then level 7 burns my skin:(

I’m going to continue to use it and hopefully have permanent hair removal!

I’ve had laser hair removal before. My experience so far is that it does slow the growth and does work but you have to be patience.

I’ve had it about 2 weeks now. Pros- the device is neat with nice package design & is easy to use. I haven’t seen results yet though sometimes they say it takes a while.

I’ve been using on level 7 twice weekly for 12 weeks. I’ve seen good results on my legs but no change at all with my underarms or bikini area- which is confusing because the contrast of hair to skin is much more pronounced in those areas. I cant seem to find any information on exactly how long it might take to see results (8 weeks seems to be the minimum, but what is the maximum?), and when I should just give up and look for other hair removal solutions for those areas. I am happy with the results on my legs, although “complete” and “permanent” don’t feel like accurate descriptors- my leg hair is much thinner , less dense and grows much slower, but I still have to shave weekly. I would also argue with the “painless” claim. Because you need to use level 6 or higher and go over areas 3x, it can become quite painful…. But nothing compared to waxing. So, if it worked as claimed I would be fine with tolerating a little pain. Over all, I’m not sad I spent money on it, but I wouldn’t do it again if I knew what I know now.

I would say for the price it's fine. Nice that it's FDA approved however only time will tell whether all this lazer stuff is actually good for us. Regarding the hair falling out... id say i'd notice some change. Biggest annoyance is that you have to go over each area THREE (3) times in one session. So you're doing two sessions every week and having to go over each area three times in each session is a lot..

Seeing a slower growth and thinning of the nood'ed hair on my bikini line! It's been almost seven weeks. Not total removal but I think the reduction is worth the price of the device.

I have been using Nood for about 6 weeks. The hair is definitely not gone but I do feel like it is slower growing and thinning out. My photos are of my armpit and bikini area after 3 days of not shaving.

I gave it 3 stars because I haven't seen great results yet, however there's still time so didn't want to leave a bad review. I have noticed my hair doesn't grow back as fast though.

TL:DR - The verdict: Chin and upper lip, not perfectly hair free but I am okay with retouching every 2-3 weeks depending, as it is much better than waxing imo. As far as the underarms, the hair is definitely less thick and lighter in color (still dark) but it has continued to grow back all along the 12 weeks of treatment, unapologetically so!  Due to scheduling constraints, I was unable to begin treatments as soon as I received my Nood The Flasher 2.0, so I knew I'd possibly miss my return window before finishing the required 8-week treatment. As per the included instruction card in my Nood box, I did the recommended 2 sessions a week for 8 weeks. I did this for both underarms, chin and upper lip. I followed all of the instructions to the tee, the shaving, the exfoliating, the routine, proper placement, the three passes over, etc. and did it all at the highest level (7). I am a light-skinned Latina with dark black hair and of European white, African and Indigenous ancestry; prime candidate for Nood based on their skin tone and hair color guidelines. I began to notice results by week 3 on my chin and upper lip, but the underarms remained unchanged. By week 8 I was not "completely hair free" as Nood claims but I was content enough with much less hair growth and decided I would do an additional 3 sessions a week for another 4 weeks, in the spotty areas still growing hair. All in all, 12 weeks of treatments, totaling 28 sessions on both underarms, chin and upper lip. Plan was to start with these areas before moving to more sensitive and labor intensive areas where the requirement of shaving before a treatment becomes problematic (ingrown hairs, rashes, etc) in between sessions if the Nood doesn't succeed in performing as expected and advertised. Nood The Flasher 2.0 did not perform as claimed, for me, therefore I will not be using it in the bikini area or legs, unfortunately and especially after having read of the struggle others are experiencing with their Nood in these areas. I wrote to Nood about my experience prior to writing this review and their response was basically repeating the instructions I had already stated following and pretty nonchalant.

So far with 6 weeks of consistent use, I have noticed a huge reduction in my upper lip hair and in my leg hair. It seems to work really well with thin hair. My armpits and bikini lines have much thicker hair and I have barely noticed any difference with those.

So far some results on my legs, but not working on my underarms. I think it needs more time. I noticed my blonde hairs are still growing on my upper legs, but not the super dark ones, which makes sense since it can't get the blonde ones. I would be happier if it was doing more on my underarms.

I don’t doubt that it works. It definitely will take A LOT of sessions and each session can take up to 30min+ depending on how many areas you want to treat. I have medium-light skin and dark brown hair. This still hurts to use on settings 6 or 7 (the recommended setting to see results). I tried OTC numbing gel and it was still uncomfortable. I have had laser hair removal at a dermatology office and it was a much faster process. It was also painful, but they gave me a prescription numbing gel and the session was like 5 minutes. It was much more expensive, of course. The reason I didn’t continue with Nood is because of the pain. I’d rather do 5 minutes of moderate pain than 30+ minutes of mild to moderate pain (knowing I’d have to do many more sessions). If that info doesn’t matter to you, this could be a great product.
