“I received an electrical shock from this unit while using it on my underarm. It traveled down to my hand and left me in a lot of pain. The company never recognized this nor responded with concern when I contacted them. I sent the unit back as quickly as I could get it in the box. I do not recommend it.”

“I bought nood and was super excited to use it. The first device they sent worked for about 10 flashes then stopped. I worked with customer service for an exchange (they were really nice). The second device they sent did not work at all. I returned it for a full refund.”

“I have the exact right type of skin/hair combo and used it exactly as directed: shaved close and then used it on the highest setting 2-3 times per week for 15 weeks now and have tried it on my legs, armpits, and bikini area. Has not been effective in any area. At best, I would say it now takes 2 days to grow as much hair as it used to grow in 1 day, but after that, it's about the same. It has not cut down on how much I have to shave at all. It takes over an hour each session so to have essentially no results, I'm very bummed.”

“The device was shipped quickly and for a fair price... if it worked. I have dark hair and fair skin, which according to the chart should be the most effective. I've used the device for 6 months consistently on three areas, and I have not noticed a reduction in hair growth or anything. I kept using it, hoping that would change, but one day the device just wouldn't turn on. I tried several different outlets, but it has completely stopped working altogether. Since it is outside the 90 day window (in which I did not see results but opted to keep trying), I can no longer get a refund, even when the product won't turn on. Save your money- from the performance of this product it seems many of these reviews must be incentivized.”

“I was hesitant to use at first, but got a quick reply from customer service and made the decision to begin. I am on Week 6 of treatment on my bikini area and feel like the hair growth has been less and less in the past couple weeks. It is a long process,but literally takes me less than 10 minutes 2x a week!”

“So far so good. Customer service communication has been great. They answered my question about whether their skin care products contained coconut (allergy) and helped me fix inability to leave a review. The Nood device was delivered in the expected time, nicely packaged with very clear directions. I performed the intensity and skin sensitivity tests without adverse reaction, 24 hours later. Upon first use, I was a little nervous, but got through the 3 passes to each area. The places which had more hair follicles seemed to deliver more intense snapping rubber band sensations. The device seemed to heat up, but it was not too uncomfortable. It seemed to sense which areas didn’t have hair because the automatic function wouldn’t flash over some patches of skin. My first treatment was done on my underarms, entire legs, and because I’m undecided if I want to be “nood” everywhere, just the bikini line. My skin color is between light and medium, depending upon which body part (sun exposure isn’t equal). Perhaps I may try my light fuzz on my forearms or even that bit on my upper lip someday (but I can’t picture shaving my upper lip or letting it grow between treatments- I currently wax it, when it seems noticeable).”

“Not the biggest fan. It actually makes me want to go back to med spa for laser bc nood hurts amd it's also really bright and I'm worried about long term impacts on vision.”

“This product does not work and their return policy expires before you are supposed to see results. I'm very dissapointed. I followed the instructions exactly as prescribed and I have seen ZERO change in my underarm hair. Don't waste your money! Go elsewhere for hair removal!”

“I bought the Nood on 9/5/23 and have not seen any results. I was hoping by now(almost 8 weeks) my hairs would at least be thinner. Disappointing. I feel I wasted $208.00”

“I purchased Nood for my facial hair and underarms. My skin and hair color fit the description of being an ideal candidate. And, I am aware that each person is different; this is my experience. I read the instructions many times because I really wanted this to work. After about 6-weeks, I wasn’t getting the results that I thought I would - definitely not seeing enough change to approach ‘hair free in 8 weeks’. I did reach out to customer service - Kaye was very timely with a response and very helpful in answering my questions. She gave suggestions for better results - one being to use Nood every other day for ‘stubborn’ hair (which I have), and two, always shave right before use. I had been shaving in the morning and using Nood in the evening and that is too much time between the shave and the zap. With only about 1 week remaining in my trial, I started using the device per my new instructions. Right up to the last day before I could no longer return Nood, I have started seeing results - slower grow back between uses, mainly. I decided to keep going with the treatment since I’m finally noticing progress after 10-weeks. So, overall a 4 because of the lack of clarity in shaving right before use and that it could be used every other day for stubborn hair. I would recommend reaching out to customer service earlier in your trial time if you’re not seeing results. And, I am really pleased that customer service is so attentive. Honestly that was a factor in me keeping Nood, so thank you, Kaye, for your assistance. I’m much more optimistic that Nood may work.”

“I LOVE it, it's significantly and dramatically reduced the thickness of my hair. BUT honest, my bikini hair won't go away completely and it's been months upon months. I have reached multiple times to inquire what I can do. Each time they say "keep doing it and it'll happen". Do 3-4 intentional passes at 7 intensity every other day right after shaving -as recommended. Most recently my email was to ask them if it'll grow back thicker because I'm tired of this. I love it but geez when is it going to end, I'm just tired of doing it for 6+ months. Before a couple months ago I was doing it only twice a week intensity 6-7.”

“I used this on a strict regiment and went past 16 weeks on my underarms, pubic area, lip, and legs. For reference, I have fair skin and medium thick hair that is black/dark brown. I don’t shave my legs. I’ve used laser hair removal and had great success from that. But when I used Nood I didn’t see results in any area I was using it on. I was able to return it for full price. Attached is a picture of my legs two months after completing the Nood process.”

“I found this device very effective and fast! I was able to use it on my face, legs and arms. I wasn’t as consistent as I would have liked to be but after having this device for a year I am very happy with my results!!”

“OK so far, but waiting to see real results. I like the adjustable settings. The high one is way too much for me (burns) and I am unsure if it will take even longer with a lower setting, so that's my biggest worry.”
