“A great platform for new UGC creators to start building their portfolios. Easy to use, quick payment - the only negative is the lag in sending/receiving messages with brands - can take half a day to receive an email. Apart from that, I've had a great experience using this platform 👌”

“so far only one on of the 3 selected creators has submitted a clip. Communication for follow up from the other 2 is unanswered - but I still out the free product. The creator who did deliver was excellent - but 1 out of 3 isnt great.”

Just for full transparency, creators get constant notifications every time they have a new message, once they need to upload the video etc. so we're doing everything in our power to deliver the video in a timely manner. “Decent platform for creators getting started in UGC! In my experience from current websites I use for producing content, so far this has had the highest response rate for me as a creator. It's not easy to get your foot in the door within the creative industry, so it's nice to have one platform which has helped in this! However, it loses two stars on two key areas: 1. Although creators are told about being approved for a campaign, they aren't told about when their proposal is rejected. As someone who has applied to multiple ones through Clip, many of them are left unanswered for months and it can give creators false hope sometimes on still being potentially considered. It'd really help to still receive a notification of rejection for a campaign, so we can use this as encouragement to apply to other relevant jobs. 2. Despite my deepest appreciation for most of my approved campaigns, being supported by brands, and building professional connections to work with some businesses more than once, compensation is rather low across the board (minimum £25 and maximum £75). Other platforms on which I have not been as successful in bagging opportunities as I have with Clip, advertise significantly fairer and more representative payouts. Based on the industry standard, £150 is deemed the base standard with ideal compensation being from this figure and up. I'd truly this area improve in the near future because the focus of Clip merely be on the brands for use in their marketing and engagement, but ALSO on creators' efforts. Of course, it is understandable that other factors can come into play e.g. if some smaller businesses have a limited budget or if pricing depends on the platform itself. Nonetheless, other brands which have grown over the years and have become more established are imagined to be at an appropriate budgeting level to promote opportunities which pay more.”

We appreciate your feedback on the communication regarding campaign proposals. We understand how important it is to receive updates, however the reason for not notifying creators when not being approved for a campaign is of the negative impact that it might have on some of our creators, but we do understand your point of view at the same time. Regarding compensation, we understand that many creators value fair pay for their efforts. Your point about industry standards is well taken, and we’re continuously evaluating our structures to support both brands and creators effectively. We'll definitely discuss this internally in order to find ways in increasing the payouts. Also, keep in mind that we are currently pushing brands to leave tips for the creators.
