“I am so happy with webwed. I have been with my husband for 12 years. Unfortunate he is in jail. I got married using their Kansas office via proxy. I love that they don't use zoom or public apps. They used their app that was approved by the prison. Also, I have out about them because they donated tablets to the tablets not so they can get married but to connect with families. This program started years ago - how did we not know about it. My officiant Michelle was amazing and the owner JC is a lawyer was highly spoken of by the prison chaplain in California. I know they have an office in California but the wait for the license was long .we did their marriage education program. “I waited over a month to write this review because I wanted to see if my online wedding actually did what it was supposed to do, which is getting my wife from the Philippines and myself back together after a year being separated due to the pandemic. I was able to obtain my visa to travel to her country and now I am there as we speak and after my brief quarantine I will be able to hug her again. So if you have your loved one abroad like myself, this is definitely the best way to speed up the process and reunite with your partner. As far as the wedding itself I have to say that it was an incredible experience, since it really felt like a real wedding and JC was the best officiant one could possibly have, very professional, courteous, super friendly and made us feel like we were all family. “The marriage and everything was perfect and quick. However it has been non stop issue trying to get the marriage certificate. I received info that it has been shipped and should have arrived but when i checked with fedex the shipment was missing barcodes/scans and was stuck in memphis for the past 5 days. Its been 25 days since we gor married and was told the whole process and shipping the certificate would take 7-10 days. For legal reasons my wife and i require the certificate because of the country that we live in. 2 star for the formalities but 0 go the trouble and stress trying to gwt the certificate.”
Dwight. We don't have control over shipping. The court sends out the basic license regular mail and that takes 7-10 days domestic. The apostille process takes 3-5 business to process. We don't give a time frame that you will receive. but, we select for it to get to you as soon as possible. As you aforementioned, we shipped on time and we sent the tracking. We can not control FedEx and its procedures. Due to covid, there have been new procedures and confirmation by the carrier and customs implanted. We can call FedEx and get an update and send it to you during normal business hours.
