“The service from Wide Shoes was very good - very quick dispatch and delivery. However I am very disappointed with the Sketchers Wide trainers. They were advertised as being suitable for bunions. When I tried them on they were very comfortable but after wearing them for a six hour shift on my feet, my bunions were in terrible pain and have been for a few days since. The shoes were wide enough so I’m not sure what caused the pain. As I have worn them, I cannot return them, but can’t possibly wear them again. Will stick to Fitflops in future.”

I am sorry to read that you found the trainers you purchased uncomfortable.
That trainer is a 2E width fitting, and it seems this is not wide enough to accommodate your bunion. If you are looking at wide fitting footwear again in the future I would recommend looking at a wider width such as a 4E or 4V fitting. This fitting gives more room around the ball of the foot and will be able to offer relief to larger or more protruding bunions.
