“I recently purchased a Bolex H8 Cine camera and a Canon Fd 400mm f2.8 lens and I could not be more pleased with both my purchases . Also the enthusiasm and help from Emmie and Howard on the explanation of the condition of both my purchases it was an absolute pleasure which I have not had for sometime to purchase something from somebody with knowledge and enthusiasm. And then when I received my purchases, there’s a little package inside, so you can sit down and have yourself a Yorkshire tea, which is absolutely brilliant (icing on the cake) . thanks again Dave middleton”

“Set of Rolleinar lenses, arrived in excellent condition, exactly as advertised. Neatly packed an fast. Even with the additional import costs into the EU it was still cheaper than offers in my own country. If I am looking for more stuff in the future, for sure I'll consider WYC again.”

“The lady who helped me over the telephone ,and subsequently wrappep up my purchase, was extremely efficient and friendly, I wish other firms would remember that customers are only humans and cannot be treated in some cases by communicating only via modern means i.e. by e-mails and the internet , long live the polite and courteous telephone manner. Well done West Yorkshire Cameras, I now consult your website every otherday for a quick update on Vintage Canon and Exakta etc. Ian Lamont”

“I bought a couple of lens plates for the sinar for a project I'm doing and I couldn't have spoken with nicer people when enquiring about my purchases. And on top of that, the shop called to say I've cocked up my order. (my words and deeds, my fault not theirs) and helped me sort it out and then on top of that a great surprise a YORKSHIRE TEA teabag was in with my order. Bloomin great stuff!”

“I bought some Canon FD bits to complete my FD macro bellows and stage kit. The prices were extremely competitive, it was well packed and despatched in a timely manner. All arrived safely and was exactly as described, I've only managed to find time to have a quick experiment with the kit and the bits from West Yorkshire Cameras worked perfectly. I love the use of their local dialogue in their communication and the inclusion of bag for a brew whilst trying out my new (to me) gear was brilliant. The whole experience has been light hearted and fun to experience. I will definitely be buying from West Yorkshire Cameras again if they happen to have what I need (want)! 🤣 Thank you.”

“I've been buying from WYC for a while now. Browsing their Instagram and website content, does no good for my bank balance but, I've never suffered buyers remorse afterwards. The shopping experience is even better when buying from genuine enthusiasts (rather than just salespeople). I will continue to buy from WYC as long as there's film!”
