“Contacted this company via email to cancel my services and request deletion of my information due to the poor performance of the services and the horrendous customer support.
They refused to accept my cancellation advising I must log in to the platform to delete my information and cancel my services, this is is complete disregard for the law regarding the GDPR and Consumer Rights Act, that clearly stipulates:
The consumer will have a right to cancel in distance contracts and off-premises contracts that fall outside the exceptions in the regulations. You must give them the model cancellation form set out in the regulations before the contract is made.
The cancellation form must be legible. You must provide it in one of the following ways:
In off-premises contracts, you must provide the cancellation form on paper, or on another 'durable medium' if the consumer agrees (see Regulatory requirements for consumer contracts for an explanation of a durable medium).
In a distance contract, you must provide the cancellation form on a durable medium however, the consumer doesn't have to use the model cancellation form and can cancel by otherwise clearly telling you that they're cancelling the the contract.
They believe their TOS is above the law and the hassle is not worth your time, especially with the services being so poor.
I will give them the legally required time to honour my GDPR request and should they fail to delete my data, I will be contacting the ICO and once my evidence is provided they will be severely fined and hopefully learn the error of their ignorant abhorrent ways.
I will update this once the ICO is contacted or they concede to the law and follow through with my request.
Remember your rights as a consumer, NO company or their Terms of Service are above the law and they shall learn this the hard way.”

“Very shady business practices. Absolute zero refund policy, even when the website charged twice, support refused to refund. We raised a charge back through our bank, they then threatened us with debt collection. I've seen comments regarding this on reddit and other sites, seems they have no problem threatening and trying to extort money from young gamers trying to enjoy a hobby. Pathetic. Stand up and be real people!”
