don't waste your money, and mental health with Zap-Hosting irst they offered the worst onboarding experience I've ever had. Second they offered the most frustrating support I've seen. It took me almost 2 months to get started and wasted many hours chatting with their really not helpful support team. After a few months I decided to stop the service and now they want me to pay some cancelation fee, even though I have been paid every single month despite all the issues. Do yourself a favour and find another service provider, any other options you find will probably be better than going for Zap-Hosting, trust me.

Greedy and unwilling to work with customers. Service attempted returned in the first 14 days due to the inability to get it to work. Nightmare company to work with. Tickets take hours upon hours to be responded to.

If I could give a 0 star I honestly would, AVOID IF YOU DON’T WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY! Not worth the money you pay either. And reason being why I’m writing this review is because back in December 2022 I pulled out a VPS with ZAP and then thought it wasn’t for me as the performance of these machines are absolutely terrible, so I therefore cancelled my contract and came to an end, therefore 5 months later I’ve noticed they’ve taken £65 out of my account so I opened a ticket and contacted them regarding this matter. And asked for a refund when I cancelled my subscription they had basically told me that I couldn’t have my refund. So I’ve had to raise a dispute with my bank over this, which I didn’t want to do as I wanted this to be disputed between myself and ZAP. Absolute terrible company, terrible support team also paid for Support Booster took them 5 hours to respond to me about this matter. If you want to waste money go to these, but there’s a lot more better companies out there. I don’t care if ZAP responds to this as I’d really like them to because it’s not right what they’ve really done at all, when they tried saying that I didn’t cancel my contract which I really really did. I recommend to anyone reading this who is thinking about joining ZAP don’t, I highly recommend getting a Dedicated Server off OVH I moved over to them and the best move I’ve made so much more worth the money. And such good! Get your own full machine!

Servers would crash randomly. Even after bumping it to premium server. After finishing the game on it and cancelling it they wanted to charge me for another month even though I tried to cancel it 3 days in advance. Apparently you need to cancel it 7 days prior, like this is some sort of rent or old school phone contract. Get with the 2020's Zap. Drop the contract. I am now stuck paying for another PREMIUM server month that I didn't use a single second of. I will *never* use your services again and encourage others vehemently to find an alternative. Everyone, be careful you have been warned.

Absolutely awful in every way. Rented a server for a game, had no help, no controls for the server had no console for the game (literally everyone has a console for the game if you rent a server). One person got stuck in the server and trying to re-enter said they were already there. So normally you would use the console to kick/remove the person so they can re-enter the game. There was no way to do this so next option would be to restart the server, but restarting the server deleted the entire game world and all characters, with no backup. Attempting to contact customer support stated they can help in 12 hours via email, or I can pay additional money to get help sooner. Predatory, in the time they took to respond I slept, got another server, and got all my friends on it. They then told me even though it had only been 24 hours since I started the server and I contacted them at 11 hours into the server they won't refund me and so I removed my payment at paypal and created a claim. They have since told me "you decide yourself how easy you want to make this" and stated they will be sending me to a creditor for the $7 Euro I spent in 7 days. Worst experience ever with a company.

Ordered a Vps, 2 days later still not activated. Tried a support ticket for 24 hours and didn't get a reply. Paid for a support ticket to be looked at sooner and I get a copy pasted reply. This is by far the worst hosting I'v ever used and will never be coming back. Warning to anyone looking for hosting. Run far far away from this terrible company.

rented 2 servers from them, never went up for 4+ hours, i cancel and refund the servers, find out they didnt refund it to my bank but their "zap-coins" for their website. i get paypal to refund me, they say their gunna send debt collecters and also charged me 60$ (the server was 30$) claiming its a "debt" i owe, even though my refund hasnt even gone through

Contacted this company via email to cancel my services and request deletion of my information due to the poor performance of the services and the horrendous customer support. They refused to accept my cancellation advising I must log in to the platform to delete my information and cancel my services, this is is complete disregard for the law regarding the GDPR and Consumer Rights Act, that clearly stipulates: The consumer will have a right to cancel in distance contracts and off-premises contracts that fall outside the exceptions in the regulations. You must give them the model cancellation form set out in the regulations before the contract is made. The cancellation form must be legible. You must provide it in one of the following ways: In off-premises contracts, you must provide the cancellation form on paper, or on another 'durable medium' if the consumer agrees (see Regulatory requirements for consumer contracts for an explanation of a durable medium). In a distance contract, you must provide the cancellation form on a durable medium however, the consumer doesn't have to use the model cancellation form and can cancel by otherwise clearly telling you that they're cancelling the the contract. They believe their TOS is above the law and the hassle is not worth your time, especially with the services being so poor. I will give them the legally required time to honour my GDPR request and should they fail to delete my data, I will be contacting the ICO and once my evidence is provided they will be severely fined and hopefully learn the error of their ignorant abhorrent ways. I will update this once the ICO is contacted or they concede to the law and follow through with my request. Remember your rights as a consumer, NO company or their Terms of Service are above the law and they shall learn this the hard way.

Very shady business practices. Absolute zero refund policy, even when the website charged twice, support refused to refund. We raised a charge back through our bank, they then threatened us with debt collection. I've seen comments regarding this on reddit and other sites, seems they have no problem threatening and trying to extort money from young gamers trying to enjoy a hobby. Pathetic. Stand up and be real people!

I used to tell everyone zaphosting is good but that was like 1-2 years ago now i tell my friends to stay well away from zaphosting they used to be really good and support and fixing issues, now its like they dont even care about there customers spoken to rudely and issues that was happening with the server they wouldnt fix by saying it most be something you added ( when i never added anything i just reinstalled the server, and i cancelled my servers and they are still charging me for a server i cancelled i am now looking to moving my service over to (www.citadelservers.com) they are 100% more friendly and never talk down to a customer they dont make you pay for support of make u wait 6 hours to 24 hours before a reply

Absoluter Sauladen. DRINGEND FINGER WEG. Server am 14.08. bestellt und SOFORT per BTC bezahlt. Am nächsten Tag war meine Bestellung storniert und natürlich gab es auch keine Rückzahlung meiner BTC. Habe dann ein Support Ticket eröffnet und sofort die Transaktionsid im Blockchainexplorer bereitgestellt. Seit dem wird das Ticket immer wieder zwischen verschiedenen Personen weiter gereicht, die mal um irgendwelche Informationen bitten, wie Zahlungszeitpunkt, der natürlich wie alles andere bereits in der TXID zur Verfügung steht. Hier wird offenbar nicht nur leichtfertig mit Kundendaten gespielt, wie der Hack anfang des Jahres zeigt, sondern auch Kundengelder unterschlagen. Mein Weg führt mich jetzt zur Polizei und meinem Rechtsanwalt. Und mein Rat an alle nach dieser Erfahrung ist: Finger weg, verbrennt euer Geld lieber.

Terrible hosting. They don't tell you that you should get a Premium CPU for certain games and when you upgrade later, you will loose all your data. The support is not helpful and will tell you that you should have made a backup... Why host with them if you need to anway do the host management yourself??? Will update this post in case the support actually provides support.

My negative review is mainly based off of bad business practices and weak customer service. I signed up so that I could play Valheim with my nephew. If you are playing Vanilla version of games you should be fine performance wise. We used some mods, which slowed down the game. On their site they mention that if you have slow downs, support could possibly help you isolate which add-on might be causing the slow down. However the support tech didn't even both to look at the logs. They used a cookie cutter response that mods can cause excessive memory usage and said we should just upgrade to a more powerful server. At that time I let them know other providers are less expensive for a server with more memory and that at the end of the current billing cycle I would be terminating our service. Prior to the next billing I went in and cancelled automated billing. When the bill date game around they did not charge me but eventually they went and manually charged my account saying that you actually have to go in and cancel the contract. Regardless if things needed to be done a specific way, it was clear based on my previous support ticket, removing the billing from the contract and my tickets communicating this to them, that we wished to cancel. However they were adamant about keeping my money. We had not logged in to use the service recently. This is just bad customer service and short sided on their part.

Convoluted cancellation policy geared towards making it difficult to stop paying for service. Will not delete account information after apparent data breach due to fraudulent charges.

Horrible billing practices. The website is convoluted and difficult to find anything. The whole system is a money grab for the owners NOT a legitimate service. Server did not even work when it finally came online. There are plenty of other server providers out there don't use this one!
