“Zip receieved a refund to a credit i receieved and hide the money... and then dont want to give it back!!
The only way i knew i had got the refund was my avaliable balance increased! Nothing to show they had my money... hiding it!!! Not happy! How can they do this... just keep my money and i have to request them to send it to me.... thats dodgey! I can see why they have only got 1.2 stars! Wont be using zip again!”
“Zip seems to do what ever they want. Prolly a good idea to stay away from this company. YOU WILL HET RIPPED OFF. They think they can adjust amounts on the fly with out checking with the contract holder. I got ripped off and so will you”
“I've used zip for several orders. It was until my shein package was stolen that I had an issue with them. There is a lack of accountability for the companies. Shein refused to refund my package despite me not being home and then leaving my package in front of my door. I came home 2 days after they delivered my package. Package delivered 11/11 expected delivery 11/14-11/18. I arrived home 11/13 after a vacation to be informed the package was delivered early. I checked with neighbors and then reached out to all parties. They declined and said I'm still responsible for making the installment payments and can't receive any new products or a refund! Spare yourself the headache! I'm disputing all charges with my bank and closing out my account.”

“Awful! I’ve used Zip a couple of times and I’m shocked that Visa is allowing them to issue credit card numbers. This is a fraud company! They are taking a percentage of your money upfront, denying transactions and holding your money hostage for 13 days while they make interest on that money. I had two transactions that were declined by Macy’s and this company tried to tell me they didn’t decline it. Macy’s provided the transaction numbers and Zip held my money for 13 days so they could make interest on it. I also bought a credit card to use as I wanted too. The first transaction was declined so I didn’t use it again and they still held my money for almost a month.”

“Took my money but store didn’t recieve order. Then I have to wait to see if they give me my money back or not!? It was groceries I obviously needed. And can’t have my money to use elsewhere to buy them. Wtf. Customer service is no help. Never had an issue with Afterpay so I’ll stick to them.”
“ZIP has horrible customer service. I first set up an account, filled out all my information, and when I went to purchase I received a message stating my credit card wasn't working. After trying 3 other cards from two different banks, I sent a message to customer service. DAYS later they said your account is on hold. I was required to give them a LOT of sensitive information. Again, DAYS later they said it was fixed. It wasn't. Again DAYS later they responded and ZIP told me they wouldn't accept me and wouldn't tell me why. I have stellar credit. I have NEVER been rejected for a loan. The worst part is it took well over a week for them to reject me and now they have a lot of sensitive information.”
“DO NOT USE THOS HORRIBLE COMPANY!’n They took my money I didn’t recognize them and did a dispute! My card is still charged they told the merchant to give them money back! And it was taken out of her bank account and kept what I paid. My lawyer is involved”

I received a refund in credits from Fashion Nova, and they still made me pay the balance on an item i NO LONGER had. They’ll never give a dime of my money again. Disgusting money hungry business.”
“I had two transactions with zip one seller wsinker.com and rapidnally.com never received the merchandise from either seller after zip had debited 2 payments out of my account. So I contacted zip to let them know I had not received the merchandise and I tried contacting the seller but was getting an error message on both sellers and not to debit my account anymore until the problem was resolved. Zip asked me to show proof that I tried notifying the seller, sent zip 2 screen shots and zip said they will investigate. Then zip tell me I can't get a refund because they refunded me in March of 2023. So basically their saying I lose my money zip is debiting out my account and I get no merchandise.
So I had to contact my bank, and I'm reporting them to the BBB. Zip knowing these sellers are fraud continue to debit my account before and after being notified. Zip says their policy is once you're refunded on a transaction, it cannot happen again. Zip needs to screen sellers regardless.”
“Zip is awful and their customer service isn’t any better. They pinged my credit for loans and such 15 times, even though I only applied 2 times. They kept giving me the run around as to why my credit was being pinged when I had not applied for anything other than those 2 times, even AFTER I closed my account with them. I filed a BBB complaint against them and none with customer service could give an answer other than the run around excuses that I’d already heard. Shady company and if you value your credit score, stay away! They do more than just soft credit checks as they imply! My credit score dipped because Zip checked it over 15 times in a months time!”
“they have the worst customer service. lets begin with i recently changed my number and everywhere else they updated it no issues. but zip has had me locked out for two weeks. I've reached out to many robots because that's what they are and keep asking for the same information i sent them what i can to verify its me and yet nothing is done and they ask for the same items. save yourself the head ache never use them if you wanna use a pay later option just go with Klarna or after pay they at least have great customer service .”
