“Terrible customer service!! I've used this app for years, at least 20-30 large purchases. I have never once been late on a payment. I recently lost a loved one and had to leave the country with no access to my finances (app is region locked) Due to ONE late payment, they cut my spending limit down to a quarter of what it was. Customer service REFUSED to return it. Hanlle R. was the agent that assisted me. They took their sweet time responding to each message before finally disconnecting on me!!”
“I have spending power over three and $4000 with all the other major by our pay later companies (Klarna, affirm, Afterpay), so I thought I would try zip to see how they compared my first “spending power“ with them was $150 which is a joke. I bought my son a jersey from fanatics with them and paid it off promptly, and a few other small purchases to which like four months later they increase my spending power to 300 and some odd dollars. Fast forward like a year later and I made multiple purchases using zip, the four payment plan with no interest, I pay them all either on time or early. My “spending power” DECREASED to $66. They said my purchases probably weren’t large enough or I didn’t pay enough off. I paid off eight purchases even got an email from them saying my spending power was increased and I purchased multiple items totaling between $50-$330. I don’t know what they expect you to buy, but I like to use them for small purchases from places like Mercari. Most companies up you’re spending power every time you pay off a purchase. This company is a complete waste of your time. For $66 and purchase power, $300 at the top of my spending power, come on that’s an insult. I’m gonna stick with the big guys who appreciate their customers. We have put vacations, airline tickets, and now our washer and dryer on affirm and Klarna and Afterpay. Thank you guys for appreciating your customers. This company sucks.!!”

I made a purchase with best buy and zip approved transaction I received partial order from best buy for the rest of the order Zip declined order even though i was approved for the order. Terrible company even when i called in customer service did not want to assist me with my issue. i will be deleting the app and definitely not recommend this company to anyone”

“If you ever decide to change your number, you are going to have issues updating your number. You will have to call them and have your license ready to get it scanned which for some reason didn’t work. I never had issues updating my number with Klarna or Affirm but with company, I still haven’t had my number updated and I can’t user Zip as a payment option. I am glad I have Affirm and Klarna. Goodbye Zip”

I canceled the order to keep from paying 200$ for something I payed all but 4$ of but instead of refunding me my 51$ they put it towards a payment that I do not owe.
