I was very happy to find your chairs online! I LOVE the modern, simple design, quality leather, solid craftsmanship, comfort and contemporary elegance. All of these are excellent features! Seeing so many 5-star reviews helped to convince me to buy them online. Not an easy thing to do without sitting in them! I wish I could give the chairs five stars, but there are two things that are disappointing. The main issue is that the oak wood is laminated. This doesn't bother me on the backs of the chairs - I guess I would expect those larger pieces to be made up of glued-together wood parts. It's the appearance of the back legs on most of my chairs (I have six) that bothers me. When I look at the photos on your website I see almost none of this laminated wood on the legs. After I received the chairs I went back to look at your photos closely, and I did see one "seam" on a chair leg. I'll attach a photo that shows the chair leg with the most noticeable issue - multiple seams. It diminishes the quality appearance of the chairs, and was disappointing. The other issue is that the color of the oak is quite different than it appears on your website. It looks quite blonde in your photos - more like maple or birch. The chairs I received are more of a light brown. They look great in my dining room, but I think it bears mentioning that the pictures on the website are not accurately showing what I received. Don't get me wrong - overall I'm very pleased with the chairs. They look great surrounding my 56" round, maple table. My dining room just got a serious upgrade!
