I love candles and crystals so this is right up my alley. Amethyst happens to be my favorite too. It's very well presented and I didn't have any issue removing the candle from the box. I did noticed the candle move around a little in the jar, like there was some slight shrinkage but it wasn't anything crazy. The scent is very relaxing but I found it to be on the lighter side. Even after burning hours the scent was still a bit faint in the room but you may not want anything too overwhelming if meditating. I wouldn't mind a stronger scent but overall I'm happy with it and as a candle lover would enjoy receiving it as a gift.
