This is my first time buying an Epic Encounter box, and to be honest it was just because it was on sale. What I found was impressive. Nice little battle map, the book has 3 different difficulty scales (depending on the party's level), some fun tactics but the biggest highlight was the mini. It is impressive and has great details, swords sticking out of leg, from a past battle, wolf skins boots, just amazing. I included a photo, next to my standard frost giant. I was not disappointed.
