The component is a good addition to the Prodigy to improve slide release actuation. It does extend out from the firearm more than the OEM component. It slide right in so the fitment is perfect. If you ride high on your frame this will affect your support hand placement. If you drop your slide with the Slide release this is a must have component for your Prodigy.
