This is a great game if you like a dungeon crawl, thematic settings, character progression, and cool miniatures -- note: you do have to assemble them.
The gameplay is fun, I really like the mini-game between scenarios and the narrative that forms as you play (without being a specific story). The expansion possibilities are fantastic.
Too bad I waited so long to purchase it.
