We LOVE our new fireplace insert! It is absolutely beautiful with our natural stone fireplace, it heats very well, and DOES NOT EMIT ANY SMELLS AT ALL! We previously had regular gas logs. The smell of the propane gas made me very sick with headache, lung discomfort and nausea. I am delighted now to be able to enjoy the beauty and benefits of a gas fireplace with no detriment to my health. It cost a whole lot more, but in the end, it is worth it.
