Worked perfect I prepped the dovetail on the slide with a little piece of 800 grit wet/dry just to clean it up a bit, it had slight corrosion after removing the original iron sight. I applied a little blue locktite on the leading edge of the slide dovetail, started the sight mount by hand and it went right in the dovetail with light tapping from my nylon gunsmithing hammer. I didn't need to use my sight press. I tightened down the set screw, mounted the Venom and let it sit overnight. I went to the range the next day sighted in the red dot and I'm completely satisfied.
