This steel rack is perfect for minimum 16" long split firewood. The 12 foot model holds exactly a face cord of hardwood.
Th stacked wood is about 6" to 8" off of the ground. It's secure and it comes with a heavy duty tarps that fastens over the top of the pile and drapes down about 15 to 18" on each side, as well as the ends.
It took a week to get it delivered and about 1 hour to put it together
It was very simple to setup.
