Apart from the fact that it can only be used with the two Leica Panasonic telephoto lenses this a pretty uncontroversial bit of kit. My initial trials with it seem pretty successful - the camera information is all correct and with the 2x converter reports the telephoto lens at 200mm as 400mm and the 35mm equivalent as 800mm. Maximum aperture of f4 becomes f8. Autofocus works as expected and only gets it wrong occasionally as with the standard lens. In decent light good sharp images were possible with a shutter speed of 1/640th second at ISO400, making use of the excellent OIS in both the G80 and the lens. Good to see the converter comes with two caps and a soft pouch. Unedited photos attached. Only slight negative is cost - it's rather expensive for a fixed converter.
