The thicker material of this carport cover looks & feels sturdier than the basic one, however I'm not confident It will last past a year, which is only how long the company will cover you for it. Honestly I won't buy from this brand anymore because they don't consider what weather is like living in New England. I've only had this a few months and the material is already splitting at the corners. I'm disappointed.
